I agree, the level of "pay2win" mechanics in splinterlands are extreme and ended up pushing me towards other crypto games. Its just too much.
Some kind of "even playing field" skill mode would be cool

The earnings and the Community / Guild are mainly what keeps me in now, and I can see the playerbase growing still in the coming years so I keep going.
