2022 - September 1 - start of schooling season - visual story in 20 foto

I don't mention it in my posts, but my friends know that my daughter doesn't go to a regular public school - we also use the opportunities of home education and proudly wear the #homeedders label. Unfortunately, my child has problems (some psychological field, I'd say, that is of a subtle and complex mental organization - or, an alternative version: too much laziness, or mom and dad are absolute idiots, that can’t fix the process ...)

One way or another, I can not boast of her educational activity's great success - neither in mathematics, nor in calligraphy, nor in sports, and the list goes on and on.

But actually, that is not exactly what I wanted to talk about today, hehe.

Today was September 1st. The long summer holidays are over, and today all students in our country are starting to study again. This day is celebrated as the Day of Knowledge. Of course, every school feels free to celebrate it as it pleases, as its teachers think; in most schools there are no lessons, "children are just starting to scatter, so that later they can jump more authentically," figuratively speaking.

This is probably a good way to reconcile the child with the fact that the days of rest and fun are over. Teaching a child in a playful manner is generally the best kind of learning. In the evening, a celebration was held in the courtyard of a neighboring school, which brought together small children from all schools, as well as their parents, and other children, even those who do not go to school yet.

There was a lot of fun, games, quizzes with prizes - and unfortunately, the whole event was accompanied by bad weather. It was very cloudy and it was raining all the time, the parents stood with umbrellas and warmed themselves with hot tea all the time. But still, it was great. I took 400+ photos, a significant part of them will have to be deleted later because they are blurry, alas.

But nevertheless, I also had a great time trying to catch and capture interesting shots - you can see the results of this photo hunt today in this post. Yes, probably my post does not talk about my own child and about our home education, but I sincerely hope that you will not consider it off-topic, and you will be pleased to look at the fun of little students, many of whom first came to the 1st, 2nd or 3rd grade of elementary school.

There were two show-runners -- you see them in the photo above and many others.

And her nice assistant named 'Fluffy donut' - she helped to give away all the contest prizes, and shared with kidz tonns of hugs and smiles.

She was so cool!!! And her dress is amazing and does impress, isnt it? Very creative. Steal the idea, mates! 😎

One kiosk was producing in real time and selling this delicacy - and the line to it was endless :) Judging by what I saw, this is a very popular delicacy among children, and it made a great contribution to the holiday atmosphere.

Two at once! both for himself - isnt it to much? nope! 🙃

Ok, I have a lot of expressive portraits of young sweet tooth, stock enough for several posts :) but I'd like to tell you about the rest of the programme, as well..

Another kiosk offered a "body painting" service, a fun that evokes constant, endless, non-stop delight. Kids never get bored of it!

Like last year, the program featured a couple of clowns who performed a lot of acrobatic tricks. The children stood with their eyes wide open... and even participated in some acrobatic acts. Unforgettable experience! now the school might be associated not only with complex incomprehensible textbooks, long dull lessons, but also with fun and games. I for imprinting :)

And - tadaaam! -- there came a real magician. Magician with his assistant became the real highlight of the evening (for me). For a short time - 15 minutes - he entertained us with mysterious tricks. He drew and colored pictures in a closed notebook (!), turned scarves into huge cockatoo parrots, and so on ... I was delighted!!! The public was stunned too. But most of all I liked not the tricks themselves, but the expression and his acting, the constant change of facial expression in his face, the pictures of bewilderment, confusion, surprise and delight that he painted on his face. It was a real deal!

Sadly, it was already late evening, the stage was not lit, poor lighting and long exposures to blame, not me -- therefore rare shots turned out to be at least "average", most came out pretty badly, and I'm ashamed to show them :/

Needless to say that parents were happy too. Some took pics, some even videographed the event. The memories indeed must be sweet.

I prefer to wear clothes that are not embellished with any "talking" pictures, jokes, memes or statements, however I might make an exception for this one. I've been acquainted with the "Game Over" T-shirt for over 15 years, but I've seen it live on other folks only a few times, less than 5, so each case is priceless! Of course, you understand what the "punch" is, so that I am not in need to explain more? ...

The crowd did not disperse until the very end, until the evening (fortunately, the rain did not turn into a flood ...) Kidz grabbed and took home all the balloons decorated with inscription "September 1st"... and a bunch of wonderful memories. But my story came here to the end!
