Hola, setero! #MushroomModay arrived --

And I have some fresh visuals to share, from this morning walk.

I couldn't manage to visit the autumn forest during my weekend (unfortunately). See, I live in the metropolis and all I could find, is fungi growing in my yard and in the park.

Puffballs !!!

I found loads of fresh new-born puff-balls, real strawberry fields of puffballs :D

I actually expected to harvest today some #streetphotography - so, I borrowed Canon 70-200mm telephoto lens. All these photos were taken with this lens, which has a minimum focusing distance of 1.5 meters. Yeah, I captured these 'macro' shots from 1,5 m distance. If I were walking around with my favorite Sigma 150mm macro lens, then of course it would have turned out to be different photos, much more "macro".

In the grass I found an UFO! (unidentified fungi object) - all I can tell, this is sort of a polypore mushroom.

2022-sep-2545w-h.jpg

Here we have an interesting polyporous fungus, which is firmly rooted in the yard next to me. Every time during July-August I watch it grow and take pictures. Unfortunately, it grows in a shady place, the sun never shines directly on it, which of course is reflected in the photographs.

Due to the fact that this mushroom is quite large (the entire agglomeration is about 20 cm in diameter) - I managed to make a decent macro, from a distance of one and a half meters.

Another polypore invader on the greenish tree trunk. Spectacular!

A family of dung fungi growing near the trunk of the same tree.

And this unknown, unidentified mushroom interested me because here (perhaps) I met the so-called "witch's circle" (half of the circle, to be precise) - the fruiting bodies of the fungus that grew along the diameter of the underground mycelium mycelium.

In my opinion, a good lens is able to make photos look clearer for the intended object, and the color contrast is also very interesting.
