Picture a day - black on black

Young stray cat I met at midnight at the streets of St.Petersburg -- very shy and thin, young cat-lady. A teenager. Some good samaritans provided her a spare whool sweater, as I can figure out!

It was a bit tempting to take a photo of a black object almost without any light, I often prefer better to skip taking pictures at all, when it comes to poor lighting, but this time I simply could not resist to click the shutter 5-6 times, just to see what I will have.

location: Russian countryside September 2020 natural light
camera/lens: Canon 5D Sigma 150mm raw-conv
f 2.8 t 1/20 ISO 1600 --

thank you! 2nd cat in my childhood was black, I still keep very warm memories about that. probably an imprinting thing with black cats for me, haha! have a nice day -- !BEER
