I found this beautiful pink rose in a photograph folder marked unused. Not sure how I missed this one and had not used it sooner. I trust you will appreciate it.

Encontré esta hermosa rosa rosa en una carpeta de fotografías marcada como no usada. No estoy seguro de cómo me perdí esta y no la había usado antes. Confío en que la apreciará.

I am slowly adjusting to publishing on the two platforms. Actually there is a third platform that I am also publishing my photographs. I am still a little behind schedule. My work as a care-provider in my home requires me to do a lot of paperwork and go through an annual review. Because of the request to stay at home the state reviewer had me email scanned documents for the review. I was close to being ready for the review so I was able to email the documents she needed 2 weeks early. I am hoping this will free up a little of my time.

Mi trabajo como cuidador en mi casa requiere que haga mucho papeleo y que pase por una revisión anual. I took my first flower photograph of the spring. I will be sharing it in this publication. This should be the beginning of the flowering season with more flowers blooming as the weather warms. This past week things slowed up due to below average temperatures. We had some snow almost every morning this past week. The nice thing about snow this time of the year is that it melts quickly even on the colder days.

Tomé mi primera fotografía de flores de la primavera. La compartiré en esta publicación. Este debería ser el comienzo de la temporada de florecimiento con más flores a medida que el clima se calienta. I usually have my weekend post ready early in the week, but that is not the case again this weekend. Here it is Saturday morning and I am just starting to work on it. I did have my photographs ready so that helps. I have followers on both platforms so I am working on both platforms. I will get the other post ready in good time, because I will be working on my curation publications next.

I will keep my narrative shorter until I adapt to doing more publications. I am not sure what the problem is but I keep losing my work on peakd.com and on hive.blog as I have been working on this publication. I try and keep copying my work into a word document, but I keep losing what I have done before I get the latest part pasted in that word document. This is taking too much time because of this. I can only hope I get this done today. I have tried saving as a draft in the past and ended up with only part of it published.

Mantendré mi narración más corta hasta que me adapte a hacer más publicaciones. No estoy seguro de cuál es el problema pero sigo perdiendo mi trabajo en peakd.com y en hive.blog, ya que he estado trabajando en esta publicación. Intento seguir copiando mi trabajo en un documento de word, pero sigo perdiendo lo que he hecho antes de conseguir la última parte pegada en ese documento de word. Esto está tomando demasiado tiempo debido a esto. Sólo puedo esperar que lo haga hoy. He tratado de guardar como un borrador en el pasado y he terminado con sólo una parte publicada.

Photographs/Fotografías

I have shared similar photos of the following view of my daughter and my visit to but I thought this would be a good time to share this one as I anticipate spring and flowering time. I am not sure if we will be able to visit these gardens this year due to the stay-at-home orders. I heard that they have finished revamping the Japanese Gardens, yet the park and garden remains closed. I really hope they get some control of this virus soon for the sake of everyone, but also for a selfish reason. That selfish reason is that I get many of my photographs at these gardens. We usually try and go in July. In the event it remains closed to the public I could easily run low on photographs to share next winter. For now I will not worry about such things; instead here is a wonderful view of part of those gardens:

I have written this section a couple of times, but end up losing i before I can save it. When this happens I do not always remember what I wrote the first time. My writing tends to just flow, and when I lose what I am working on I cannot reproduce it the same. So I will try again and get this crocus photo uploaded again. This is my first flower photograph of the season. I used to have other colors besides white but they have died out over the years. The same thing happened to my tulips, although I planted new ones last year. I plan on planting replacement crocuses this fall. I hope you enjoy this first flower photo of the year:

My final photograph today is of a couple of whitetail deer that are visiting one of my feeding stations, and where I have a trail camera set up. All the deer look quite healthy this spring. Some springs they do not look healthy. Now the grass is slowly growing and they are getting better food than their winter forage:

I am using a Canon EOS Rebel T5 for most photographs, except where noted. I do have an older PowerShot Canon camera that I use from time to time. I have been using my phone camera for photos of plants in the plant room at times. Wildlife is usually taken by a stationary trail camera that takes photos based on motion.

Estoy usando una Canon EOS Rebel T5 para la mayoría de las fotografías, excepto donde se indique. Tengo una vieja cámara PowerShot Canon que uso de vez en cuando.
