Literary challenge [ENG-ESP]

Best regards...I read Cien Cuyes by Gustavo Rodríguez as the first book of 2024 which starts my personal challenge to read at least two novels a month.
This tragicomic novel awarded with the Premio Alfaguara 2023, which at the beginning gave me the feeling of going very slow but as it evolves everything makes sense is good that you give it a chance to understand a little more the theme of old age, that surely all of us will get there, "God willing". The author shows us the different vicissitudes that are faced: if you are left alone or if you have the opportunity to count on family or friends is this last stage of life. He gives us many examples of the thinking of the elderly and the importance of having a helping hand...
**Literary Challenge...Have you already set your literary challenge for this year?... The important thing is to set the challenge, whether you meet it or not at least there is the intention. The intention is the first step, the desire to fulfill the reading of novels, to have a goal. January lends itself to reorganize our activities, and reading is a very good activity for the benefit of our education, recreation and mental gymnastics. So I invite you to set your challenge, and if you share it even better to be aware of it.
I have in my hands two books, which I borrowed: The Psychoanalyst, by Jhon Katzenbach and Joyland, by Stephen King, I'm inclined to start reading the second one since I haven't read anything by Stephen King yet. I'll be telling you about it.

Cordiales Saludos...Leí Cien Cuyes de Gustavo Rodríguez como primer libro de 2024 que da inicio a mi reto personal de leer como mínimo dos novelas al mes.
Esta novela tragicómica galardonada con el Premio Alfaguara 2023, que al comienzo me dio la sensación de ir muy lenta, pero a medida que evoluciona todo toma sentido, es bueno que le des una oportunidad para entender un poco más el tema de la vejez, que seguro todos nosotros llegaremos allí, "Si Dios quiere". El autor nos muestra las diferentes vicisitudes que se afrontan: si quedas sólo o si tienes la oportunidad de contar con familiares o amigos es esta última etapa de la vida. Nos da muchos ejemplos del pensar de los ancianos y la importancia de tener una mano amiga...
Reto Literario...Ya te planteaste tu reto literario para este año?... Lo importante es ponerse el reto, si lo cumples o no por lo menos está la intención. La intención es el primer paso, las ganas de cumplir con la lectura de novelas, tener una meta. Enero se presta para reorganizarnos en nuestras actividades, y la lectura es una muy buena actividad para beneficio de nuestra formación, recreación y gimnasia mental. Así que te invito a que te plantees tu reto, y si lo compartes mejor aún para estar al tanto.
Tengo en mis manos dos libros, que me prestaron: El Psicoanalista, de Jhon Katzenbach y Joyland, de Stephen King, me inclino a comenzar a leer el segundo ya que no he leído nada aún de Stephen King. Ya les estaré contando.
