A Solo Trip
As a student, I also have lots of academic and personal pressure that I have to face all day. At this time, I had a long vacation. The vacation for Eid al-Fitr as we all know, Eid means happiness. And this time, I planned to take my happiness to another level with a new experience. In my life, I never make a solo. So, I decided to go on a solo trip by myself. I live in Dhaka, which is the capital of Bangladesh. There are 7 divisions in Bangladesh; among them, Rajshahi is one of the biggest cities. Rajshahi is the cleanest and most beautiful city in Bangladesh. And there are lots of things to explore. Also, I live in the capital city, where everywhere there is noise and pollution. As Rajshahi has also a village side I can also feel the beauty of nature. So, overall, I choose the city to explore in one day alone.

I started my journey on the third day of Eid, 14 April 2024. I go to Rajshahi by train. I moment I spent on the train was also amazing. I enjoyed the full journey with great joy. I got down at the Rajshahi Railway Station and took some snacks there. Then I go to the University of Rajshahi. It is a dream place for the students of Bangladesh. The university is so beautiful and clean. It is a big area of the university. There people were enjoying and spending their time with joy and love. I explore the whole campus and learn about their lifestyle. After that, I explore so many places outside.
For the direction I used Google Maps which is so much helpful. Also, one of my friends has guided me through phone calls whenever I feel trouble. Then I go to an amphitheater which name is “Lalon Shah Mukta Moncho” in local. It’s an open place beside the bank of the Padma River. The Padma River is a major river in Bangladesh that flows from the Himalayas to the Bay of Bengal. Also, there is a barrage of the Padma River which is called “T-Badh” and “I-Badh” local. It is called T-Badh because the barrage is ‘T’ shaped and the I-Badh is ‘I’ shaped.
The moment was so much beautiful for me to spend time on the bank of the river. I enjoyed the time with my favorite playlist of songs. Also, I take a ride with the boat on the river. I enjoyed the sunset from the river It was a great experience.
The full city is so colorful and the people are also friendly to all. The people of Rajshahi are also helpful. I also tried their traditional food which is called “kalabuna” a type of beef that they love to eat with rice. I also eat so much street food. Among them, one thing was different from the others which was a different ice cream that they made with fruits. The ice cream was so tasty and colorful that I tried first time in my life.
The best part of my journey was the night view of the city. The road, street light, and the over-bridge are so beautiful. The road is colorful and bright. Also, there people were in a vacation vibe for Eid. So, the surrounding environment was so enjoyable for me.
And at last, I go to the station again for the train. Again, with a beautiful scenario and train journey I back to my home in Dhaka.
Overall, it was a great day in my life that I will never forget. All the of the journey I enjoyed a lot. The beautiful scenario and the view have solved my all problems for a while. I got refreshed and relaxed. So, sometimes that types of solo trips we need in our lives. Life is so beautiful if you know the way to enjoy it. Also, traveling is a good thing that makes us more relaxed. Traveling gives us new lessons and experiences. By traveling we can learn more, explore more, and gather knowledge more. That will give extra benefits in our daily life. And when it's about a solo trip it sounds different. From solo trips, we can enjoy our time the way we want. Problems will come and go in life because it’s a part of life. Life isn’t a bed of roses. But that doesn’t mean we will live a life like a living dust. We should enjoy our life in our own way. We shouldn’t waste our valuable life. And I think for a different experience we all should take a solo trip alone.
