Comparing Nigeria’s Economy To The USA’s.
One of the things that helps to determine if a country is good is the economy. At the same time, the economy is what determines the lives of the citizens in one way or the other. The economy has to be favorable in a way that people can afford to buy the things they want and live comfortably.
Comparing Nigeria to another state, we tend to realize that Nigeria’s economy is better than some while some are better than Nigeria’s. At the same time, we have been experiencing hiking prizes in every part of the world and so many people cannot even afford what they used to.
Comparing Nigeria To The USA
Here in Nigeria, our local currency is Naira (#) while the local currency of the USA is dollar ($). To an extent, there are so many jobs in the USA compared to Nigeria. It could be a menial or corporate job which people can do to sustain a living. Here in Nigeria, one of the things affecting us is unemployment and that’s why we tend to see so many Nigerians who travel to other countries to get jobs and also earn a living.
Let’s compare our minimum wages. Our minimum wage in Nigeria is #33,000 while that of the USA is $7.25 per hour. I think one of the mistakes Nigerians make is comparing the rate of $ to # and even comparing the cost of living. An American could work ten hours a day to earn $72.5 and may not afford all what he needs while a person living in Nigeria may earn #200,000 monthly and live well. Unfortunately, there may no be much savings for the person but it is better than none compared for the fact that things are quite cheaper in Nigeria.
I’m earning a very little amount of money here and I’m still able to save some money even though it may seem very little. If I decide to live in countries the USA, UK, Canada, Russia and so on, I won’t be able to meet up due to the bills and their cost of living. That’s why I usually feel Nigeria is better but the best bet is usually traveling outside the country and work in a country that has a high value currency and save up to invest some money in a business.
Also, there are some countries that Nigeria is very much better than. The fact that our cost of living is quite cheaper and we can even sustain a living no matter how hard it can be. Also, there are so many people living in poverty here because they can’t meet up to the cost of living but I still feel Nigeria is the best bet and also the best option for those who work online to earn dollars or those who are earning a lot of money.
Nigeria’s economy is not very good but a bit better especially for those who can hustle very hard to earn some money and also have different source of income to live the lifestyle they want to live.

Sorry to hear that your economy is not doing very good. I think it's the same for most countries right now though. Every country seeing inflation ; ;. It hurts but ya i totally agree those that hustle can make it and live the lifestyle they want. That's why we are here on Hive :3

This is something many people don't even understand, Nigeria's economy is bad but at least it's still fun to live here. In America, you will have to work the hell out of yourself before you can be able to afford the cost of living. Some people even have 2 jobs and barely sleep just to make sure they pay their bills every month

It may look greener on the other side of the fence but every country has its own challenges. It's awesome that you have a better perspective despite your country's economy not being good. Other people usually blame their governments.
