Different Side Hustles And Experiences

Hustling is one thing that has been in my blood for so long. I’ve always loved to make money so I always make sure that I engage in anything that brings money and puts food to my table. When I say anything, it does not mean I can engage in fraudulent activities. That’s one thing I’m never going to do.
I’ve tried so many things in life as little as I am and that’s why things don’t really seem difficult to me even when I know that they really are. I started making money officially when I was at the University. Part of the things I’ve tried is cloth selling, sales of jewelries, Forex and so much more until I found crypto. Also, I feel 2020 is my year because I was able to indulge fully into cryptocurrency activities since there was lockdown and we were inside all through. Let’s go straight to two side hustles that I’ve done and failed and also worked out for me.

A side hustle that failed

Clothing business.

I’ve always loved clothing business even though I never had the money to do it and no matter how ad I tried, I still was not able to save up some money for it. Fortunately, after the lockdown in 2020, I met a man who was a philanthropist. He helped so many people but I feel he has a special likeness for me so he was willing to help me with a job or even start a business for me.

Fortunately, he gave me #50,000 to start my clothing business. I was glad and took to the market. The problem started at the beginning of the business. I went to one of the biggest markets in Lagos and started buying thrift clothes. When I began to sell, I got so many complaints from people that the clothes have wide neck and so on. I kept on pushing but I wasn’t selling well because the clothes are bad either too wide, too soft or one problem or the other.

That was how I abandoned the business and even left all the clothes in the market and never did the business again. That’s how my clothing business failed.

A side hustle that succeeded

Writing

I’ve always loved to write since I was little and I remember when I used to write story books back then in primary and high school. I never knew I was going to take writing so seriously. I took it as a side hustle after I failed in my clothing business and I started writing on paid to post forums. On those kind of forums, they create threads, write articles and lots more.

Fortunately, I learnt about Readcash and Noisecash and I was seriously getting paid there. To an extent, I was one of the most active people on Noisecash and I had more interest in writing so I began to take writing jobs online and wrote some skits for friends. I started getting paid little by little and I later found Hive. I’m glad to be on this platform and writing is the most successful side hustle that I’ve ever engaged into.

Also, I’m glad to tell you that writing is what I’m fully based into now and it is my main source of income. I’m glad I was able to succeed in writing and I hope to improve my writing skills.

Saludos, rafzat.

Having business that failed is not what one prays for and it takes great courage to come and talk about it. Somehow this gives me courage to go on in my business and keep pushing. Thanks for the inspiration.
