How Would You Feel When You Were Wrongly Accused?

How would you feel when you were wrongly accused? Wrong accusation is one of the things that I so much dislike because it tends to ruin the reputation of someone and that is why we should always try to get to the root of the matter before accusing someone wrongly.

I dislike it when I am accused wrongly and I may even decide not to have anything to do with the person again because I so much dislike it when someone sabotages my image. I would never try to sabotage someone's image and I would not like it if someone does that to me too.

I have a friend who is a hairstylist. It took her years to complete her apprenticeship before she decided to stand on her own. She was so lucky because she has good parents who are willing to support her anytime she has something great to do in our life.

Her parents supported her and bought every tool that she would be needing and they also rented a shop for her so that she is going to start a life from it too. They could not afford to allow her study at the University and that is why they tried all their best to make sure that she complete learning the hairstylist business.

Yesterday, she went to make hair for someone. She is always fast in making hair and she also had someone waiting for her at the shop. She went for the home service first and finished the hair the person was making. When she got to the shop, she began to receive calls from the person she went to make the hair for. They accused her of stealing their money. We are Nigerians and naira is the name of our currency. Our highest amount is one thousand naira which is above a dollar.

Those people wrongly accused her of stealing a thousand naira and she began to cry at the shop. They called her and hurled insultive words on her. They called her a thief and even cursed her. After twenty minutes, they called again. My friend did not want to pick up the call but I begged her to pick so we can tell them that my friend did not take the money.

To my surprise, they began to beg her. They said they were sorry that they already found the money. They said they misplaced the money and they began to beg.

Do they know the emptional trauma that they have put the girl into?

Do they even know how much she cried so that they will not ruin the little name that she is building?

Did they even think of how bad the lady will feel after saying those dirty words to her?

Dear family, it is important that we all learn how to find things properly before accusing someone wrongly. Even if someone will feel bad, it should not be from us. Instead of making people cry, let us try our best to put a smile on the faces.
