It Was So Embarrassing ~ Neoxian City Prompt #5

I'm sure that everyone of us have faced some embarrassing moments in our lives and there are some kind of embarrassment that is better than the other. It may sound funny but it is the truth. I hope you know that it is sometimes better to be embarrassed indoor than to be embarrassed outdoor.

Sometime last year, I got admitted into a film academy. I tried to participate in some of the activities in school and I am very good at what I do. Once it comes to acting, I'm very good at it. Luckily for my set, the film academy was having a movie shoot which was going to be promoted in a big way.

I was so lucky to be picked among those students who will act in the movie. It was a very big opportunity because I was not auditioning for the movie or lobbying for it. I was just so lucky to get picked for the role. I was asked to come to the studio very early on the next day so that I can begin to work and so that we all could go home on time.

I had seven scenes to act in. It may sound little but it is a lot. A lot of people are even lobbying for the seven scenes. Hahaha. In that studio, there was a man who speaks in a rude manner to everyone and I always try my best not to ever cross his path because I will feel very bad if he insults me.

The first scene went well and I did not make any mistake. I felt so good because it was my first time acting on a professional set and the director did not have any complaint about me. While we were doing the second scene, I forgot a line and the man I was always avoiding happened to be there at the moment. Suddenly, he began to shout and he really insulted me at the presence of everyone.

He told me that I'm not that beautiful but I was able to get the role so why am I misusing it? He bodyshamed me and told me all sort of words that made me cry in the presence of everyone. I felt bad for myself and I began to blame myself for taking the job in the first place. Some people are just coming into your life to frustrate you. I was really sad but I'm glad that I'm now over it.

I've been embarrassed a lot of times but that seem to be the highest form of embarrassment that I have ever faced. I so much dislike bodyshaming and I'll never do that to someone.
