My Experience With Nigerian Military Forces.

There is a general knowledge about the Nigerian army. They are mostly known for performing wicked actions. When you see people talk about Nigerian soldiers, you will think that they are exaggerating but they are not. It is the truth. If you have ever seen a situation where a Nigerian soldier is beating an ordinary civillian, you will understand what I mean. Well, some people believe that it is because they go through hardship during their training so the hardship sticks into their head and they live with it. This is why we mostly see soldiers that are not friendly here.

Would you believe that some people prefer to go through a hundred policemen instead of going through just ten soilders? This is for you to know how crazy the soldiers we have here are. Hahaha. Well, I'm sure that the way soldiers will interact with their family members will be totally different from the way they interact with outsiders. I would have loved to explain but I do not have any family member who is a soldier. Even if I have a friend who is a soldier, I won't move close to them too much. Hahaha.

Well, I've had beautiful experiences with Nigerian soldiers. The first time I went to the barracks, I met some soldiers at the gate. I did not have the pass that will help me to gain entrance into the barracks. I called the person I was going there to meet but she was not picking up. Luckily, they smiled at me and allowed me to enter. There was also another time I was visiting another barracks. The same thing happened to me. I was even standing at the place where I was not supposed to stand. Instead of them shouting at me, they told me that I look beautiful and about three soldiers had my contacts. Hahaha. Let me give you a tip. Whenever you are going out, dress well so that you will escape some stress...lol

Lastly. I was at a camp for three weeks and the surroundings were monitored by soldiers. Before I went to the camp, I was wondering how it would be like when I live with soldiers for three weeks. Firstly, they wake us very early in the morning. They call people disgusting words like masquerade, maggot, idiot and a lot more but at the end of the day, they are still friendly.

Image from my phone camera and edited with my system.

I later realized that those words that normal people like me see as disgusting words are the normal words that they tell themselves. At some point, I got used to it. It was nothing to me anymore.

In a nutshell, I have had good encounters with Nigerian soldiers even when they seem to be the craziest people in our country. I've also seen a scenario when a soldier is beating up an old man. The stupid thing about them is that they do not care about your age. They don't want to know how old you are. If you offend them, they'll treat your fvck up!!!

I hope any of us do not have a bad encounter with Nigerian soldiers. They are crazy people. Hahaha

Very true about soldiers.
The harsh part of them is not exaggerated... those people, their brain is not always at home.
One thing I noticed about them that makes me to wonder if how they're not scared of death.
I once had a soldier friend that faked his death. Omo!

That would be a tough situation to be in, having an encounter with the kind of soldiers you described.
