Welcome back to a new creative post, today I bring a pretty cool caricature, this is the representation of a special person for me, she is my cousin Gabriela, she is xx years old and she is a genius in chemical engineering, she is a person I admire a lot, so I wanted to represent her in the sweetest way I could, here is the result with its respective process.
Bienvenido de vuelta a un nuevo post creativo, hoy traigo una caricaturización bastante fresca, se trata de la representación de una persona especial para mí, ella es mi prima Gabriela, tiene xx años de edad y es toda un genio de la ingeniería química, es una persona que admiro mucho, así que me quise representarla de la manera más dulce que pude, aquí está el resultado con su respectivo proceso.

This time I didn't want to stick so much to the reference, I only took what I considered necessary to reflect her, like obviously the features of her face and hair, the rest of the process was just building as we went along.
Esta vez no quise apegarme tanto a la referencia, únicamente tome lo que considere necesario para reflejarla, como obviamente características de su rostro y cabello, el resto del proceso fue simplemente construyéndose conforme se iba avanzando.
Sketch and Base - Boceto y Base
I started from a simple well-defined sketch and directly jumped to the stain to define basic shapes, I proposed a background to better intuit the construction of the rest of the values in the drawing and let's go...
Partí desde un boceto simple bien definido y directamente salte a la mancha para definir formas básicas, le propuse un fondo para intuir mejor la construcción del resto de valores en el dibujo y vámonos...
Pictorial Process - Proceso Pictórico
Here is where the good stuff is put together, from stain to stain and as a micro process of trial and error the volumes are appearing along with a color palette balanced between warm and cold, there are still concepts that I want to perfect with respect to the shades in the materials and the way they interact with the light in their environment. It happens a lot for example in the skin, sometimes depending on the light to which it is subjected, it reflects some shadows in different shades than what the conventional shadow proposes to only darken and the same happens with the lights, objects in general when they are subjected to different types of light reflect some specific shades and I try to learn to use that as a resource in my work.
Aquí se armó lo bueno, de mancha en mancha y como un proceso micro de ensayo y error van apareciendo los volúmenes junto con una paleta de colores balanceada entre cálidos y fríos, aún hay conceptos que quiero ir perfeccionando con respecto a las tonalidades en los materiales y su forma de interactuar con la luz en su entorno. Pasa mucho por ejemplo en la piel, a veces dependiendo de la luz a la que se someta, es reflejan algunas sombras en tonalidades diferentes a lo que propone la sombra convencional de solo oscurecer e igual pasa con las luces, los objetos en general cuando son sometidos a diferentes tipos de luz reflejan algunas tonalidades específicas e intento aprender a usar eso como recurso en mi trabajo.
Final Finishes - Acabados Finales
For this point I decided to use tools that Clip Studio Paint brings and that I almost never use, such as materials for backgrounds or decorative brushes, I found a couple of trees and buildings that I liked along with a brush of falling leaves in autumn style, which by the way is Gaby's favorite season and I had not realized it until now xD and well I ended up applying a white outer outline that gives the appearance of sticker, and finally I used the tone corrector to adjust a little variants in the color.
Para este punto decidí utilizar herramientas que trae el Clip Studio Paint y que casi nunca uso, como materiales para fondos o pinceles decorativos, encuentre un par de árboles y edificios que me agradaron junto con un pincel de hojas cayendo al estilo otoño que por cierto es la estación favorita de Gaby y no me había percatado de ello hasta ahora xD y bueno termino por aplicarle un delineado externo blanco que da esa apariencia de sticker, y ya por último utilice el corrector de tonalidades para ajustar un poco las variantes en el color.
