Amorphophallus is an unbranched plant with large flower petals. Flowers that emit odors such as foul and pungent odor are also often called corpse flowers. Referring to the nature that emits the scent of the carcass, amorphophallus titanum often speaks with the flower of the genus Rafflesia.

The smell of the corpse that is issued by the flower is asked to invite flies for pollination or fertilization that makes the flower grow more.

I couldn't imagine the smell! Someone local to me had one bloom and I wanted to see it, but I was worried I wouldn't be able to stomach it.
