On this occasion, as usual, I will take part in the featured contest held by the Hive Learners community. This contest is great because we can learn a lot here about various things about writing, so it's a shame if we miss it. In this contest we share our stories, experiences and opinions about something interesting according to the theme given by the community in each edition. Without feeling it we have entered the latest week, namely Week 53 and in this first edition we will discuss something very interesting, namely about apologising, of course we all know the meaning of the word, a word that seems easy but is very difficult for us to say. A word that has a big meaning so it is not easy to just come out of someone's mouth. I will share a little story about what apologising means to me and my experience where I had to apologise to my best friend.

The word apology is usually spoken by someone when he admits the mistakes he has made to others. Apologising is an act that requires us to admit the mistakes we have made. The word sorry is so simple but the word sorry requires great courage for us to say it. Because most people find it very difficult to admit the mistakes they have made, making the word sorry very difficult to say. We as humans are indeed nothing perfect many mistakes we have made for that no matter what we also have to be heartened to want to say the word sorry and admit the mistakes we have made. In my opinion, admitting mistakes is not a despicable act, but it is an act that should be admired because not everyone is able to apologise to others. by admitting mistakes and apologising for them makes us more appreciated because of our courage in apologising.

Apologising is indeed something very difficult, but I personally prefer to apologise if I have made a mistake, because I have had several experiences in the past when I made a mistake but I chose to keep quiet and did not dare to apologise for what I had done. My feelings at that time were chaotic and I felt unsettled by these feelings. When I chose to admit my mistake and apologise for it, I felt a sense of comfort there and I was relieved to have admitted all my mistakes. Now I prefer to apologise more easily for my mistakes so that I don't feel burdened by them. When there is an argument to determine who is right I will prefer to give in, but it depends on how the problem occurs, if it is something that is not important I will choose to keep quiet and leave it alone but if it is something important and I am not guilty I will still be desperate to defend myself and I will not apologise for mistakes that I have never made.

There was a mistake I made with my best friend that I regret to this day. Although I have apologised for my mistake, my regret is still there until now. It happened when I was still in college, at that time my friend had an acquaintance of one of the girls on our campus. Coincidentally at that time he introduced his acquaintance to me. At first I was just like getting to know my other friends. However, when I met the girl on another occasion she asked for my contact and I because I already knew her so I gave her my contact. At first we just chatted normally but over time we got closer. What I didn't know was that my friend also liked the girl so when I found out I felt very guilty to my friend because of that I preferred to know the girl, although it was not as easy as I imagined because we were already close but finally I knew her well. After I knew the girl then I admitted my mistake to my friend and apologised for getting acquainted with the girl he had a crush on. To be honest it just happened without me realising it, but luckily I realised it early so I could correct my mistake.

There is nothing wrong with apologising for the mistakes we have made. Because by apologising we can avoid the more fatal consequences of these mistakes. That's all the discussion that I can share on this occasion. Please apologise if there are any mistakes in writing my article. Thank you very much for your visit. Hope you all have a nice day.

All of my writing above I wrote above using Indonesian, then I translated it into English using the help of Google Translate.

Best Regards @rahmatandesti

Saying sorry is truly the easiest way to go about solving this.

maybe apologizing is the easiest way to solve a problem but in reality it is very difficult for us to be able to apologize and admit the mistakes we have made. Thank you very much for your kind feedback, have a nice day.

you are right, where when we make a mistake but don't immediately apologize, of course this will always be in our shadows, but when we feel guilty and immediately apologize, of course it will make us calmer, I have felt that I was also in those two positions
