Nuevamente con ustedes, para compartir mis encuentros con la naturaleza.
First of all I have good news for you, yesterday, Friday, I was vaccinated with the second dose to prevent Covid 19. I waited several months and I am happy that I got it.
Para empezar les tengo buenas noticias, ayer viernes fui vacunada con la segunda dosis para prevenir el Covid 19. Esperé varios meses y estoy feliz de haberlo logrado.
We arrived at the health centre, before sunrise because we had to stay in the street and I wanted to be seen before midday .
Llegamos al centro de salud, antes del amanecer porque hay que permanecer en la calle y quería ser atendida antes del mediodía.
There were 29 people in the queue, and with cordiality and good humour we began the wait.
Había 29 personas en la cola, con cordialidad y buen humor iniciamos la espera.
The tropical sun made us resort to an old and noble umbrella, as there were no trees to offer us their protective shade in the area that was assigned to us.
El sol tropical nos hizo recurrir a una vieja y noble sombrilla, pues no había árboles para ofrecernos su sombra protectora, en la zona que fue asignada.
After almost 4 hours, I was vaccinated.
Luego de casi 4 horas, fui vacunada.
My happiness and gratitude for completing this stage was accompanied by a bit of some stress, so Alfonso (my partner) invited me to "relax", and so we did.
Mi alegría, y gratitud por culminar esta etapa, estaba acompañada de un poco de stress, así que Alfonso (mi pareja) me invito a “relajarnos”, y así lo hicimos.
We went to Playa Mansa, in my city, where there is a boardwalk or promenade and you can enjoy the marine environment
Nos fuimos a Playa Mansa, en mi ciudad, donde se encuentra un malecón o paseo y se puede disfrutar del ambiente marino.
When we arrived, a beautiful surprise, we were greeted by a slender and elegant White Heron, who was strolling leisurely along the beach.
Cuando llegamos, una hermosa sorpresa, nos recibió una esbelta y elegante Garza Blanca, que se encontraba paseando pausadamente por la playa.
It walked, stretching out its long, slender legs, attentive to our presence, as if it had a motion sensor activated, turning to look at us if we approached... then it moved away.
Caminaba extendiendo sus largas patas, atenta a nuestra presencia, como si tuviera activado un sensor de movimiento, volteaba a mirarnos si nos aproximábamos…luego se fue alejando.
On the horizon a small peñero (wooden boat) sailed on the sea, in a peaceful and comforting landscape, with a lavish display of bluish hues.
En el horizonte un pequeño peñero (bote de madera) navegaba por el mar, en un paisaje apacible y reconfortante, con un fastuoso despliegue de matices azulados.
The salty breeze gently caressed my skin, leaving its pleasant taste on my lips. I began to feel the serenity and peace of the place.
La salobre brisa acariciaba suavemente la piel, dejando su agradable sabor en los labios. Empecé a sentir la serenidad y paz del lugar.
I breathed deeply and calmly several times, admiring and appreciating the beauty of nature.
Respire profundo y sosegadamente varias veces, admirando y agradeciendo la belleza de la naturaleza.
Barefoot I started walking along the beach, enjoying the contact with the sand and the sea.
Descalza empecé el recorrido por la playa, disfrutando el contacto con la arena y el mar.
The massage of the waves and the sand on my feet fascinated me.... I closed my eyes and in silence to the harmonic rhythm of the waves, I surrendered myself to the pleasure of delighting in what my senses and my being heard.
El masaje de las olas y la arena en mis pies me fascinaron.... Cerré los ojos y en silencio al ritmo armónico de las olas, me entregué al placer de deleitarme con lo que mis sentidos y mi ser percibían.
I looked at the other end of the beach and immediately started walking in that direction, feeling the physical and mental wellbeing of this quiet space and time to relax.... wonderful, what a great idea!
Miré al otro extremo de la playa y de inmediato empecé a caminar en esa dirección, sintiendo el bienestar físico y mental de este espacio y tiempo de relax….maravilloso, que gran idea!
Further along I found a couple of beautiful pelicans perched on the remains of an old pier, sunbathing, resting and preening.
Más adelante encontré un par de hermosos pelicanos posados en los restos de un antiguo muelle, tomando el sol, descansando y acicalándose.
They turned to look at me and continued unchanged in their routine. Good example, I did the same....
Voltearon a mirarme y continuaron inmutables en su rutina. Buen ejemplo, yo hice lo mismo….
In front of them, a sturdy log lay on the sand, being visited and pampered by the waves, which splashed it frequently. I approached to observe it.
Frente a ellos, un robusto tronco reposa tendido en la arena, recibiendo la visita y mimos de las olas, que lo salpican con frecuencia. Me acerque a observarlo.
Its intense green algae bark has a delicate texture and elongated shape, similar to the filaments of a fine fabric.
Destaca en su corteza algas verde intenso, de delicada textura y forma alargada, similar a filamentos de un fino tejido
So much diversity and beauty in nature, so much to be surprised and entertained by. Great!
Cuanta diversidad y belleza en la naturaleza, mucho para sorprenderse y entretenerse. Grandioso!
I continue and there are rocks of beautiful saffron and ochre colours that are visited by the enthusiastic and energetic waves, splashing joyfully around them and showing their vitality.
Continuo y hay unas rocas de preciosos colores azafranados y ocres que reciben las visita de las entusiastas y enérgicas olas, salpicando con alegría su alrededor y mostrando su vitalidad.
Suddenly, small, mischievous crabs emerge from the rocks, moving quickly with the waves.
De repente surgen entre las rocas unos pequeños y traviesos cangrejos, que se mueven rápidamente con las olas.
You can see it on the rocks, they are beautiful, and they walk in a very funny way.
Puedes verlo sobre las roca?, son hermosos, y caminan de una forma muy graciosa.
They hide and then come back, they seem to play with me, daring me to capture them in a photo..... with patience and a little wetting....I finally achieved it!
Se esconden y luego regresan, parecen jugar conmigo, retándome que los capte en una foto…..con paciencia y mojandome un poco….logré hacerlo!
Grateful and feeling much better physically and mentally than when I arrived, I find myself recharged with positive energy, enthusiasm and serenity after enjoying the best food, vitamin, medicine, therapy or whatever you want to call the encounter with the divinity and magnificence of nature and the sea.
Agradecida y sintiéndome mucho mejor física y mentalmente que cuando llegué, me siento recargada de energía positiva, con entusiasmo y serenidad después de disfrutar del mejor alimento, vitamina, medicina, terapia o como quiera llamarse al encuentro con la divinidad y magnificencia de la naturaleza y del mar.
My dear and patient Alfonso reminds me that today I was vaccinated, and it is necessary to return to the house.
Mi querido y paciente Alfonso me recuerda que hoy fui vacunada, y es necesario regresar a casa.
Smiling and relaxed we return safely home!
Sonrientes y relajados retornamos a nuestro hogar!

Lograr las dos vacunas es una meta que nos satisface y da tranquilidad, aun cuando es necesario seguir con las medidas de bioseguridad.
El relax en el ambiente marino, fue maravilloso.....respirar aire puro, caminar por la arena, el paisaje, todo espectacular, la mejor opción para la salud mental y física, bienestar pleno!
Mis mejores deseos, salud, éxitos, alegrías y tiempo para disfrutarlo.

Que alegría saber que has recibido la segunda dosis, ahora estas un poco mas protegida, aun así hay que seguir respetando los protocolos de seguridad, ya que con la llegada de esta nueva cepa (Delta) se ha vuelto a complicar

Fue es una larga espera para recibir la cita de para la 1era dosis, hace 21 días, y ahora la 2da dosis.
En cada ocasión decidí vivir una experiencia de regocijo, a pesar de la larga cola en el centro de salud...por eso busque la manera de estar tranquila y disfrutar lo que mas me gusta la naturaleza.
Continuo con las medidas de bioseguridad, y con mas entusiasmo en mis recorridos.
