Hello dear friends of Hive and Amazing Nature.
Hola apreciados amigos de Hive y Amazing Nature.
Happy and also a bit tired, after my Friday journey for the first dose of Covid-19 vaccination.

Feliz y también un poco cansada, luego de mi jornada del viernes (ayer) para obtener la primera dosis de vacunación del Covid-19.

I arrived early and my surprise was to find 168 people in the queue in the street in front of the health centre where I was assigned to be vaccinated.

Llegue temprano y mi sorpresa fue encontrar 168 personas en la cola, en la calle frente al centro de salud, donde fui asignada para ser vacunada.

Determined to get vaccinated, I opted to do something that I would enjoy and allow me to relax

Decidida a vacunarme, y opté por hacer algo que disfrutará y me permitiera relajarme.

I thought of something within my reach at the time and also fun. I looked around me, and nature was my first focus of attention, in any of its expressions, it is part of my lifestyle.
Pensé en algo a mi alcance en ese momento y también divertido. Mire a mi alrededor, y la naturaleza fue mi primer foco de atención, en cualquiera de sus expresiones, forma parte de mi estilo de vida.
So I did, and it turned out to be entertaining.....!
Así lo hice, y resulto entretenido…..!.
Even though I live in an urban environment, nature is amazing and wonderful, I take every opportunity to appreciate what it has to offer.
Aun cuando vivo en un entorno urbano, la naturaleza es sorprendente y maravillosa, aprovecho cada oportunidad de apreciar lo que nos ofrece.

On the almost 2-block walk to the health centre, I could discover something interesting or striking, giving myself up to the pleasure of observing.

En el recorrido de casi 2 cuadras para llegar al centro de salud, podía descubrí algo interesante o llamativo, entregándome al placer de observar.
I started to do it in the place where I was, close to a palm tree. I started with its roots, which are usually given little attention.

Empecé hacerlo en el sitio donde me encontraba, cercana a una palmeras. Inicie con sus raíces, a las cuales se suele darle poca atención.

They look as if carved by a surrealist sculptor, a plant with tiny radiant green leaves, accompanying them like silent sentinels, standing out for their colour.

Parecen talladas por un escultor surrealistas, una planta de diminutas hojas verde radiante, las acompaña como centinelas silenciosos, destacando por su color.

I followed with its bright green and refreshing leaves, even more so on sunny days like today, then the slender and elegant stem, with its circular segments designed to challenge us to discover its weft of colours and witnessed stories...today was a busy day for sure, and they listened to different ways of dealing with situations, more relaxed, impulsive, impatient of everything a little bit.

Seguí con sus hojas verde brillante y refrescante, más aun en los días soleados como hoy, luego el tallo delgado y elegante, con sus segmentos circulares diseñados para retarnos a descubrir sus trama de colores e historias presenciadas…hoy fue un día concurrido sin lugar a dudas, y escucharon diversas maneras de afrontar situaciones, más relajadas, impulsivas, impacientes de todo un poco.

Near the palm trees, two dry leaves stood out for their texture, shape and contrasting colours on the natural carpet of the earth surface.
Cercana a las palmeras, dos hojas secas destacaban por su textura, forma y contraste de colores en la alfombra natural de la superficie de tierra.

A solitary ant explored the territory .... I remembered @borjan and his great photos of insects and nature and take a couple of photos.

Una hormiga solitaria exploraba el territorio…. recordé a @borjan y sus estupendas fotos de los insectos y de la naturaleza, y tome un par de fotos.

The radiant tropical sunshine accompanied us during the slow movement.... and a beautiful green-yellow Croton was showing off its inflorescence in two stages..... really lovely!

El sol radiante tropical nos acompañó durante el lento desplazamiento….y un hermoso Crotón verde-amarillo lucia sus inflorescencia en dos etapas de crecimiento, verdaderamente hermoso!.

And we arrived at the sunniest area, with temperatures above 34 °C, the sun made its presence felt with the intensity of a tropical country in a coastal area..... at that moment an extraordinary tree protected us, like the most spectacular natural umbrella, made with its branches and leaves, great.

Y llegamos a la zona más soleada, con temperatura por encima de los 34 °C, el sol hacía sentir su presencia con la intensidad propia de un país tropical en zona costera…..en ese momento un árbol extraordinario nos protegió, como la más espectacular sombrilla natural, con sus ramas y hojas, grandioso.

Very close to the entrance, another reddish-green croton welcomes us, offering its colourfulness enlivened by the sun's rays. I went to meet it....fascinated by its shades. I share with @adalger, and @phortun the beauty of nature is everywhere. So it is!

Muy cercana a la entrada nos recibe otro crotón verde-rojizo, ofreciendo su colorido avivado por los rayos solares. Fui a su encuentro….fascinada por su tonalidades. Comparto con a @adalger y @phortun que la belleza de la naturaleza podemos disfrutarla en todas partes. Asi es!

After midday we arrived at the finish line, the health centre .... was like arriving at an oasis . I was vaccinated and I feel fine! Thanks God.

Pasado el mediodía llegamos a la meta, el centro de salud…. fue como arribar a un oasis. Fui vacunada y me encuentro bien!. Gracias a Dios.

In summary: My love for nature and photography, today were my best allies to enjoy this Friday of vaccination, first dose, and share it with you.

En resumen: Mi amor por la naturaleza y la fotografía, fueron mis mejores aliados para disfrutar este viernes de vacunación, primera dosis, y compartirlo con ustedes.

The beauty of nature can be enjoyed everywhere.

La belleza de la naturaleza la podemos disfrutarla en todas partes.

Hola @josegilberto, asi es.....preferí utilizar el tiempo en algo me gustara y así la pase entretenida, esperando mi turno....lo importante es que logre mi objetivo vacunarme, la primera dosis.
Ahora iré por la segunda dosis, en por par de semanas.
