Greetings friends and lovers of photography and landscapes. Last week I had the pleasure of traveling through the eastern part of Cuba, specifically through the territories of the province of Granma.

During my train trip through this portion of Cuba, I was able to contemplate part of the wonderful geographical region of the Cauto Plain, an extensive region of fluvial and fluvial-marine plains that contains the largest of Cuba's rivers: the Cauto, as well as numerous other important rivers developed in this natural unit that constitutes a sinking block of the earth's crust.

In these photographs I show you some of the most important rivers of this natural region, which are part of the beautiful landscapes of eastern Cuba. I hope you like them. Greetings again.

Saludos amigos y amantes de la fotografía y los paisajes. En la semana pasada tuve la dicha de transitar por la zona oriental de Cuba, específicamente por los territorios de la provincia granmense.

Durante mi viaje en tren por esta porción de Cuba, pude contemplar parte de la maravillosa región geográfica de la Llanura del Cauto, una extensa región de llanuras fluviales y fluvio-marinas que contiene al más grande de los ríos de Cuba: el Cauto, así como otros numerosos e importantes ríos desarrollados en esta unidad natural que constituye un bloque de la corteza terrestre en hundimiento.

En estas fotografías les muestro algunos de los más importantes ríos de esta región natural, que constituyen parte de los hermosos paisajes del oriente cubano. Espero sean de su agrado. Saludos reiterados.
