Karstic forms in the hills of the Escaleras de Jaruco Natural Park/Formas kársticas en los cerros del Parque natural Escaleras de Jaruco

Hello friends. Yesterday I made a field trip as part of my work as a geologist, to the Escaleras de Jaruco Natural Park, in Mayabeque, Cuba. The place has many limestone hills of mgothic aspect, in which are developed many caves and horizontal caverns of great dimensions, of phreatic origin, typical of eminently karstic landscapes.

Hola amigos. El día de ayer realicé un viaje de campo como parte de mis labores de Geólogo, al Parque Natural Escaleras de Jaruco, en Mayabeque, Cuba. El lugar tiene muchos cerros calizos de aspecto mogótico, en los que están desarrolladas muchas cuevas y cavernas horizontales de grandes dimensiones, de origen freático, típicas de paisajes eminentemente kársticos.
