Galería de arte (Esp/Ing)

Saludos, mi querida comunidad. En el marco de la Feria Internacional del libro, tuve la oportunidad de apreciar una pequeña galería de arte. Quizás por lo cercana a la anterior edición (noviembre, 2023) no había muchas obras en exposición. Entiendo que los artistas necesitan pulir todos los detalles para sentirse cómodos con el resultado final y que este sea digno de presentarse a un público.

Greetings, my dear community.
Within the framework of the International Book Fair, I had the opportunity to appreciate a small art gallery. Perhaps because it was so close to the previous edition (November, 2023) there were not many works on display. I understand that artists need to polish all the details to feel comfortable with the final result and that it is worthy to be presented to an audience.

En esta oportunidad, mis sentidos se llenaron de reflexión, pude notar una crítica social marcada hacia la degradación de lo humano. Un ser que se corrompe por los vicios -droga, alcohol, cigarros...- y que puede llegar a la delincuencia, con el fin de escapar o de eludirse de los problemas de la cotidianidad, sean de índole económico, político, educativo o personal. Lo cierto es que, a veces, los individuos optan por los caminos "más fáciles" para satisfacer sus necesidades.

In this opportunity, my senses were filled with reflection, I could notice a marked social criticism towards the degradation of the human being. A being that is corrupted by vices -drugs, alcohol, cigarettes...- and that can turn to delinquency in order to escape or evade the problems of everyday life, be they economic, political, educational or personal. The truth is that, sometimes, individuals opt for the "easiest" ways to satisfy their needs.

Por otra parte, también vinieron a mi mente los términos transculturación e invasión, nuestros pueblos indígenas han estado influenciados por diferentes culturas, así han modificado sus hábitos, costumbres y tradiciones. Sin duda, un complejo sistema de intercambio y adaptación que ha dado paso a la formación de la identidad de un pueblo. Relata la historia que estos intercambios, en muchas ocasiones, han sido a través de la fuerza y el poder. Bajo este esquema, los cambios en los patrones culturales se fijan bajo la dominación y la resistencia. Conocer y valorar lo autóctono debe ser el legado para las futuras generaciones.

On the other hand, the terms transculturation and invasion also came to my mind, our indigenous peoples have been influenced by different cultures, thus modifying their habits, customs and traditions. Undoubtedly, a complex system of exchange and adaptation that has given way to the formation of the identity of a people. History tells us that these exchanges, on many occasions, have been through force and power. Under this scheme, changes in cultural patterns are fixed under domination and resistance. Knowing and valuing the autochthonous should be the legacy for future generations.

En otra pintura pude apreciar a la diosa naturaleza, un símbolo convertido en mujer que nos llama a apreciar la majestuosidad del paisaje. De allí parte todo, la flora y la fauna son una hermosa bendición que nos alegra la mirada de forma continúa. Sin mencionar las bondades de un suelo fértil, alimentarse de la cosecha familiar posee una satisfacción adicional.

In another painting I could appreciate the goddess nature, a symbol turned into a woman that calls us to appreciate the majesty of the landscape. The flora and fauna are a beautiful blessing that continually rejoices our gaze. Not to mention the benefits of a fertile soil, feeding on the family harvest has an additional satisfaction.

Me gustó pasarme por estos trazos, pinceladas hechas arte. Contemplar el talento de otros artistas es una de mis actividades favoritas.

I enjoyed going through these strokes, brushstrokes made art. Contemplating the talent of other artists is one of my favorite activities.
