Other Green Spaces and Murals to Enjoy (Eng/Esp)
English version
It takes more than a day to explore and enjoy the facilities that Guaqueri Park has to offer, since there are so many areas to focus on that we’d be absorbed for quite a while, taking in the nuances, colors, and textures of nature in all its splendor.

This time I headed to the hill, which is very close to the exercise area. Several people were there at the time, so I didn’t take any photos so as not to make them uncomfortable. However, I noticed that there were two women who weren’t dressed appropriately and were holding folders; they were surely running other errands and, once they were free, saw an opportunity to exercise in a peaceful, natural setting.

This park also has several park ranger stations and a National Guard outpost; both institutions are tasked with protecting the park’s visitors, flora, and fauna—as well as, of course, the facilities.

I’ll tell you, climbing the hill is fun. Even though it isn’t very steep, the effort is worth it, because from the top you get a different perspective of the park. I feel closer to the tall trees and palm trees; it’s like looking out over everything from a natural terrace. Walking along these trails is a relaxing activity that makes me feel good, so I don’t think twice about it—every time I pass through here, I take a stroll through these green spaces.
