Because LIFE is that simple... and I want to tell you my story...

SELF-IMPROVEMENT.jpg

Continuing with my last post, and following my commitment to post every day, I wanted to leave this message to the Self Improvement community today, which I joined a few months ago because I like everything that has to be about working on self-improving, not only physically, but also emotionally, mentally, etc.

The reason I am posting today to this lovely community consists of my next step in blogging in HIVE for this new chapter of my life in this amazing blockchain.

I mentioned in my post before that it would help me (also I think it is a great idea) to use this blog as a daily journal. I would like to share everything that comes to my mind, everything that happens in my day to day.

This idea came from the fact that usually people when giving advice about starting a blog or a YouTube channel, always recommend you talk about something you are an expert on. Maybe you are good at painting or photography, or maybe you love finance and are always up to date with the latest news... And that makes sense as you are sharing good values that could help other people who are seeking the same things as you.

My problem when taking this approach was that I realized I didn't know something in-depth enough to be giving lessons or talking about. Also, it is hard work, it is not just about being good at something, it is also about knowing how to share it and engaging with the community.

Therefore I tried blogging regularly about different topics without managing to be consistent. And this is something I figured out about myself one day and the way I am:

"I KNOW A BIT ABOUT MANY THINGS WITHOUT BEING AN EXPERT IN ANY OF THEM".

And that is not necessarily a bad thing. I always admire these people who have a clear passion and they put their souls into being the best ones in the world. They work hard hours and hours and never give up, because they know THAT is what they most love in their lives, THAT is what brings them happiness. A cook who loves cooking, a singer who loves singing, a weightlifter who loves lifting, a writer who loves writing, ...

But me... What is wrong with me?

Well, that is what I thought... there was something wrong. But it is okay to not have figured out what is your passion in your life. Some people happen to know when they are kids, some people choose their right career when at university, some people find out what they actually love in their 40s 50s 60s, and some people may just be okay with not having a passion.

In my case, and hopefully, this helps someone reading this who feels the same way, I am a person who loves creativity, loves challenges, and I am a sensitive person who appreciates the beautiful things in life. And that to me, is a good passion to have as well.

It took me a while to realize...

I have played piano, but I am not a pianist, I love taking photos now and then, but I am not the best professional photographer, I love art, and I love musicals, but I am not an artist or an actor, I danced but not a dancer, I love trekking but I am a beginner in terms of trekking knowledge,... I love CrossFit but I can't do muscle-ups (anyone else reading this? Haha), I worked as an architect but I only have two small projects built, I started as a programmer but I am feeling the impostor syndrome...

So then what? You may be thinking...

Well, I read about self-improvement a lot but I am also not a therapist or psychologist. I can tell from my experience though...

You gotta LIVE... Do not worry about having everything figured out. That is not the purpose of life, because we all gonna die one day, and that will be meaningless... Do you know what will make a difference? When you get older you think.

Well, I am not an artist but what a good time I had painting that picture...

Don't overthink, just go with your guts, with what makes you feel and be alive. I will keep being myself, someone adventurous that likes to enjoy my life the most and try new things everyday...

Because life is that simple... and I want to tell you my story...

I see a lot of beauty in being a jack of all trades like yourself. I share the same perspective and would like you to consider this: You are just not locked in a single fate for yourself. You want much more from this life than that. What you have as a singularity to yourself is this bigger-than-you-heart passion for life.

I loved the drawings here also, the second one especially. You made that!? Because I can tell you I would read a comic book about this character! Haha!
Also, most of the time this passion for life can give you a super ability in storytelling since you've seen life under so many different lenses. I recommend visiting the YouTube channel "Film Courage" and watching "Method Writing: The First Four Concepts - Jack Grapes [FULL INTERVIEW]".

This is a long video, but I think it can offer fantastic value to you.
You can watch small cuts from the Jack Grapes interview, which are bits of great knowledge in writing and also in life in general.

Best of luck to you! 😉

Thanks a lot for your kind words :):). I do actually like storytelling. I need to get into it. I will watch that YouTube video for sure. Thanks a lot for the recommendation.

Those drawings I took those from the web Canva :( I wish I could draw like that!

I need to start watching tutorials to learn how to draw and how to do storytelling haha.

I will keep an eye in your posts also to learn from you!
