I think he might actually be a good dude who's confused. Like you said, it's very difficult to convince someone of the truth when their income depends on believing a lie. Also, if he ends up sending his employers on a wild goose chase thinking they're going to control Bitcoin, I'm okay with it. It will help stave off any hostility from the state, at least temporarily. Honestly I think all we need is a few more years before they realize both that they can't control it and that it's also in their best interests to embrace its adoption amongst the citizenry. El Salvador got a huge jump start on everyone there, and it's going to give them a huge advantage when the superpowers are forced to do the same or get left behind. I think Nigeria might end up being in an even better position because they're coming at it from the bottom up there.
I agree, I think he's just not too humble in his flawed opinions. Part of that is because some Bitcoiners have been gushing over him for being an outspoken 'Space Force' dude.
LOL yeah, the Space Force part cracks me up.
