Excel - best investment tracker & data keeper

Hello everyone, welcome to my blog! Today, I will be discussing how people around the world are using Excel to become more efficient.

When I was in school, I learned about Excel and spreadsheets in my grade 11 computer science class. Although we covered it in detail, we mostly memorized the information and didn't get much hands-on practice. Unfortunately, this led to me struggling to understand its importance and efficiency at the time.

Now that I'm working in the field, I've come to realize how crucial Excel is in helping us become more efficient. Unlike humans, who are prone to making errors, Excel is incredibly reliable. However, we need to make sure that we enter the correct data without any mistakes, as even one small error can cause problems.

When I was making trades, I found it difficult to keep track of my actual profit and loss. I was struggling to figure out whether or not I was making any money. However, I decided to start inputting my trade data into Excel after each trade. This way, I was able to see the exact profit and loss that I was making.

To my disappointment, I found out that I had actually not made any profit at all. This realization led me to take a decision to protect the remaining money I had invested, and I stopped making trades altogether. Without Excel, I would have continued to believe that I was making a profit and could have lost even more money.

Tracking progress is important in our day-to-day activities, especially in the garment industry. In our garment factory, we use Google Sheets to manage the entire order process, from sending the grey fabric to dyeing, to cutting, sewing, finishing, ironing, and packing.

Google Sheets has been a game-changer for us because it allows us to easily monitor the progress of each garment style. This helps us to identify exactly where an order is delayed and address any issues quickly.

We have found that using Google Sheets has increased our efficiency by 100%, and we are able to keep track of our orders much more effectively than before.

Yes, Excel can also be used to track our expenses and income, which is crucial in monitoring our financial progress and investments. By inputting all financial data into Excel, we can easily see where our money is going, what our return on investment (ROI) is, and which investments are performing the best.

With this information, we can make informed decisions about our finances, adjust our spending habits, and make better investment choices in the future. Excel is a powerful tool that can help us take control of our finances and make smart financial decisions for our future.
