[ESP/ENG]VIAJE A COLOMBIA PARA REENCONTRARME CON MI HERMANA PARTE 1 | I traveled to Colombia to reunite with my sister PART 1

Hola hivers Me encuentro en uno de los momentos más esperados del año, la llegada de mi hermana a Venezuela desde Chile.

Hace 3 años mi hermana decidió tomar un camino lejos de casa para buscar un futuro mejor, todos sabemos que en Venezuela millones de jóvenes se van en busca de calidad de vida tanto para ellos como para sus familias. Les cuento que nunca pensé en tener a mi hermana tan lejos, pero las personas deben estar en donde se sientan bien y ella eligió Chile como su nuevo hogar.

Gracias a su trabajo duro y meses de ahorro logró comprar un pasaje para venir a visitarnos por algunos días, pero ya que vivimos en frontera con Colombia tuvimos que viajar hasta allá para reencontrarnos.

Cruzar la frontera es bastante duro, significa mucha caminata bajo el sol, pasar un puente por donde cruzan millones de personas transportando grandes cantidades de productos tanto de uso personal como para vender.

Una vez en la ciudad de cucuta Colombia decidimos esperar en un centro comercial para pasar el rato ya que el vuelo de mi hermana llegaba un poco tarde e hicimos lo que todo turista hace, comer.

Mi mamá era la más emocionada y que se pueden ver cosas que no vemos muy seguido en casa...

Una vez que llegó la hora de ir a aeropuerto tenía un poco de nervios y no sabía cuál iba a ser mi reacción, se siente un poco extraño volver a ver a alguien después de tanto tiempo, parece irreal.

Luego de tanta espera logramos reunirnos como familia, aunque le faltan piezas a nuestro hogar por algunas huellas que deja la vida,pudimos volver a abrazarnos y a decirnos cuánto nos queremos con solo una mirada y un gesto.

Disfruta cada momento que tienes con tus seres queridos y agradece por tenerlos, es lo único que queda!

I am in one of the most anticipated moments of the year, the arrival of my sister to Venezuela from Chile.

3 years ago my sister decided to take a path away from home to seek a better future, we all know that in Venezuela millions of young people leave in search of quality of life for themselves and their families. I tell you that I never thought of having my sister so far away, but people should be where they feel good and she chose Chile as her new home.

Thanks to her hard work and months of savings, she managed to buy a ticket to come visit us for a few days, but since we live on the border with Colombia we had to travel there to meet again.

Crossing the border is quite hard, it means a lot of walking in the sun, crossing a bridge where millions of people cross carrying large amounts of products both for personal use and for sale.

Once in the city of Cucuta Colombia we decided to wait in a shopping center to hang out since my sister's flight was a little late and we did what every tourist does, eat.

My mom was the most excited and that you can see things that we don't see very often at home...

Once it was time to go to the airport I was a little nervous and I didn't know what my reaction was going to be, it feels a little strange to see someone again after so long, it seems unreal.

After so much waiting we managed to reunite as a family, although our home is missing pieces due to some traces that life leaves, we were able to hug each other again and tell each other how much we love each other with just a look.

Enjoy every moment you have with your loved ones and be thankful for having them, it's the only thing left!
