A sweet beginning turned bitter

I was was waiting for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 to come to PC, I was not getting anything more interest in Miles Morales to talk about and the other game will probably come to PC at the end of 2024. So, I decided to play a different title and that's when I was searching for good games having in-game photo mode.

There are a lot of games having photo mode but this title attracted me most and the worst thing is, I don't have the photo mode feature in this game, I don't know why. But with or without photo mode, this game is beautiful although I wish I could use the photo mode to capture greater photos in greater angles.

A Plague Tale Innocence: The De Rune Legacy

The year of this concept is from November 1348 and we were introduced the Kingdom of France at the beginning and there I found my female character who came to this forest riding those beautiful horses.

My character Amicia came here along with her dad Robert taking her pet dog Lion and Amicia came here to do target practice that she used to do with her dad as a kid.

I had the option to appreciate the dog and Lion seemed so loved by Amicia. There was Robert waiting for us to follow him when I was busy petting the dog.

There I checked if the game is open-world or not and I found it a non-open-world game as I couldn't get forward from there. This beautiful gave should've give gamers to explore the world as they wish to.

After walking inside the beautiful forest for a while, we found a ribbon of Amicia's mother there tied on a tree and Robert was saying that this is where he courted her.

Amicia was saying it'd be great if her mother would be there with them in the forest.

Then Robert stopped and said they all have obligations like he has to manage the lands, Amicia's mother has to take care of her younger brother. Amicia was complaining that she hardly ever see her father and she sees her mother even less.

Robert ran and pulled that log to give me way to enter the Trial's gate and Amicia said she fears nothing.

There was this apple tree that Robert was saying he planted when Amicia were born and he added that it'll prove her worth.

As per the given challenge of Robert, I had to destroy all six rotten apples by the time he counts ten using stones and a slinger and he'll make me a knight. This is actually a game they used to play when Amicia was a kid.

After that, we noticed Lion started barking as if he found something and he started running fast and we started following him.

After running for sometime, I found Lion stopped at a spot and we noticed there was a wild boar drinking water. Lion scented this hunt for us and now we had to hunt it using my slinger and stones.

As soon as I started weaving my slinger, the boar escaped the spot hearing the slinger noise so I had to follow it onwards.

It stopped after a small run and I was hiding in the grass so it doesn't notice me and I was targeting its head so we get it fast and my target was great.

But it got up after a moment and started running towards deep of the forest and Lion started chasing it so did Amicia when Robert was slowly trying to keep up with them.

After running for a moment, I fell in this mud and after passing it, I noticed there was another way I could take.

The more we were running forward, the more darker the forest kept getting. It was not that beautiful and colorful anymore that we found at the beginning.

Suddenly I found the boar in this condition. This is the boar that was so alive a moment ago. Now Amicia started worrying about Lion as the dog stopped barking.

I started running fast to find the dog and found the dog in a very bad situation.

It looked like he fell in a hole and there were bloodstains on all over his body.

Suddenly something was pulling him inside the hole as he was behaving as if he was dying inside. This moment was really painful.

Robert reached us before this thing happened so he dragged Amicia at the back of him and put out his sword and they left the spot fast.

They returned to their kingdom riding their horses. Robert asked Amicia to go and find her mother and that he must speak with her. Amicia looked so sad for losing her favorite dog so Robert stopped her and said that Lion was a good dog.
