So let us talk a bit about music as a whole today. From long time ago, classical music and all no matter how famous they are, they don't earn much. Famous, yes. Earning, not very sure...

But in today's world, there are instant riches.

Individuals

From individual point of view, we can see how much singers are paid.

Seriously, just look. 1 year, $230 million in 2022. These are riches that I am unlikely to see in my lifetime. Dude, I am aiming for $1 million in my life, so this like 230 times of my lifetime? Haha.

Ok, but this is still fine, this has always been the case. Even athletes, some can rise to instant fame and riches. We see that before.

But now, something more insane.

Countries
When I was young, nobody talks about South Korea. Yes, we know the existence of the country, perhaps through Taekwondo. But now, EVERYBODY wants to go Korea and listens to their songs, despite not knowing a single korean word. Dude, they even have a term called K-Wave, K-Pop. Madness...

The market is expected to hit USD 0.6 Billion per year. Yes, Billions!!! This is how much that this entertainment K-Pop is worth. Just a couple of decades ago, such riches will never be possible, and now it is possible. Who knows, what will the future for the entertainment industry be.
