I grew up with Autism and was unaware of it.

So I've written about this a lot. I grew up with Autism in the 80's and I was completely missed. Of course high functioning autism wasn't even a thing until recently -- and it was my son that helped me realise that perhaps I have it.

I've never seen it as a bad thing though, just a different way of living. I hope some of you can watch this and relate.

I'm switching back to mental health because I think the topics on men and women are far too polarised.

Anyway, that being said.

Peace :)

The entire idea of "mental health" has become a lot more of a thing during the past couple of decades. We've come a long way towards understanding the human psyche, and particularly how our mental health really does affect our physical health as well.

Being "on the spectrum" thankfully carries less and less stigma.

It does! I think if I hadn't have kept myself in shape in knew how to fight I perhaps would have been bullied by a lot more kids.
