A Case Of Smart Contract Technology

I am used to always paying attention to smart contracts, thanks to crypto I know how the basics of smart contract work and it has been one of the best most fascinating discovering of my life. During my early exploration in crypto, I had to read and learn about smart contract, and I got to understand that its a set of program that if and when specific instructions are met an action will be executed. For instance if there is a smart contract that lets people who have 1 ETH to request for an NFT, IF AND WHEN they have 1 ETH or more will the smart contract transfer the NFT to their wallet, this is why when we check the blockchain explore you will notice that when you are trying to mint an NFT, the smart contract was built that you are sending some ETH to a specific address which then lets the address release thereby sending you the NFT. Its a technical smart contract instruction.

There are some minting that lets you input another address you would want to mint the NFT on if you dot want to use the same wallet you are using to pay for minting fee. This means that you are paying the minting fee on behalf of the wallet. Cool right? I talked about inscription sometime again, its basically like minting tokens but they are fixed and limited, initially tokens are minted by devs and then released to buyers or investors, but inscription is different, people mint them not the devs. The community that mints them will then sell them based on how much they want to sell it. I have been trying to inscribe for days now, but fortunately I came across the first inscription on the celestial network. Knowing how successful the celestial chain, people flooded the inscription the broke the website, so the website couldn’t function properly.

So the team told us to inscribe manually, which means that we should send a minute amount of TIA to our address which is the self minting address, and then inout the inscription memo I the memo section. This means that the block is recognising the inscription act with the memo and we are sending it to our own address because we want the block to be minted on our own address. Unfortunately for me, I was sending the TIA to my other wallet all through the times I was trying to mint till minting ended. After realising that I was really mad at myself, I felt I had messed up, I had one chance of having a TIA inscription and messed it up. Then I realised that its simple basic smart contract command, basically I sent the TIA to my other TIA wallet by mistake. This means that as long as the inscription MEMO was inputed I was indirected minting the inscription on my other wallet. So I went and searched for my other wallet seed phrase, inputed it and found the inscription there. How beautiful the smart contract is right?
