So I came across this ghozali profile on opensea and it’s literally pictures of a young Indonesian man taken from when he was 18 to 22 years. Talking about creativity and working smarter, even though the idea is funny, you can’t help but commend the effort of taking same pictures for 4 years. Think about the consistency, although he said taking these pictures was for a school project, but fortunately for him, his consistency has paid off.

So all he did for 933 days was take pictures of him sitting in front of his computer, although there are no indications of the pictures taken everyday respectively , of course he must have forgotten to have taken some pictures some other days. 933 days divided by 360 days will give roughly 2 and half years. But the open sea collection profiles says that the pictures were taken within 2017 to 2021. This reminds me of some one on Instagram whose whole Instagram was dedicated to him giving an exact same smile.

You know the world and placing value on some funny trend, I wonder what the buyers of these NFTs will do it. Well, this could be a trend in historical NFT meme. These NFTs got sold out, and this young Indonesian man made over $1 Million from selling these NFTs. That’s a lot of money for doing something you started for fun. It’s actually a bold move by him to put it out there, because if someone had come to me and said they wanted to put their pictures up as an NFT, I will find that funny. I know how many times my friends and I have joked about listing our pictures as an NFT on opensea. But seeing Ghozali do it, this means it’s possible.

While this is weird but interesting, I hope we don’t start seeing some weird stuff as an NFT. Imagine people uploading their feet, hands or legs as an NFT. The funny thing about this is, people are still going to buy it.

Glad for Ghozali, he has gotten rich and famous, who knows, just May be, the world might be expecting another collection from him. This time it might be something else and unique.
