Thanks to @boscohage for bringing this to my attention, based on the @leogrowth post and making a post about one of the Leofinance communities, make a post about it, tag it right both on the Leofinance and on twitter, then post it. This is really great since the community is committed to growth and so far we have been accomplishing this goal with one post at a time. I will be talking about the Coingecko communitiy, because this is one of crypto’s great tool I love so much. Its a crypto life saver and it’s something you need to always have at your fingertips as a crypto investor, enthusiast or whatever, as long as its associated to crypto.

Came in contact with Coingecko in 2018 when I was constantly always checking out crypto prices, I had to bookmark the Coingecko site so I can easily navigate my way around it and stop stressing myself everytime i want to searching it, this helped me stay connected to crypto ad their prices. Fast forward to 2022, a lot has changed since then as they have been massive improvement and updates on the Coingecko platform.

A Little Intro

Coingecko is a crypto price tracking tool and more, it has a website and an app which you can download on google play store, or apple App Store. It shows the list of all the cryptocurrencies listed on it and more. You can check the price, you can check for exchanges and their trading volumes, and these exchanges are categorised as centralised, decentralised and derivatives. There you see the categories and the list of exchanges under each categories. You can also check for NFTs on Coingecko and know their floor prices. Although these features depend on the means you are accessing it from, I will advise you use a PC for a better experience of the platform. You can also learn about crypto with Coingecko with their learn crypto feature.

Now lets go to the cryptocurrency utilisation of Coingecko, when you are doing your research about a cryptocurrency, your first go to should be the Coingecko platform, because this makes all the work way easier as Coingecko brings the information of the available coins to your fingertip. All you need to do is search for a coin in the search section, type whatever coin you want to search for and voila! You have yourself these information:

This has already set you steps ahead your research, you can also check the total general crypto statistics like Market Cap, dominance, exchanges and trading volume of the crypto market. There is a loyalty program where you get candies for showing up everyday on the coingecko platform after you have signed up. To claim these candies all you have to do is log in, enter the platform, go to the candies section and claim these candies. These candies can be used to redeem freebies on the platform like e-books, Coingeckon Tickets, VPNs, sales off on some products like antivirus, ledger and some services.
