Hope Without Action Is Wishful Thinking

Hope is a feeling of expectancy we have towards something, and it’s mostly considered a positive feeling. I consider hope to be related to optimism (correct me if am wrong) or could they be considered as different words but the same meaning. As an individual I believe in vibe and energy, and I try my best to concentrate on positivity, and “hope” can be categorized under positivity vibe.

When I was much more younger I used to focus on pessimism more because I didn’t want to get my hopes high so the hurtful feeling I will get will be minimal when I get disappointed. But growing up I realized that, that mindset is really not healthy and I should focus on being hopeful, when you are hopeful you give your feelings to the universe to execute, and sometimes they come out as expected.

Why Should we be Hopeful?
Hope can be considered a drive that gives us a reason to keep putting the work into what we try to achieve. Imagine work with no hope, you will definitely have no reason to put in work. When you finally get an achievement from the work, you won’t be able to recognize it or value and appreciate it when it comes. But that hopeful feeling makes your achievement have value and worthy. We all have hopes in life, some people’s hope could financial goal, some people’s hope could be educational goal, some people’s hope could be relationship goal. If you have a financial goal to achieve, hope will give you the drive to wake up in the morning and work towards it. Hope makes you see the possibility in a pile of impossibilities. Hope will always want to make you try new things because you are expecting it to work out.

But when you don’t have hope, you don’t find reason to make it work out. You don’t get the motivation to do it at all.

How Do We Differentiate Hope From Wish
Sometimes people confuse and mistake hope for wish. While hope is a feeling of expectancy towards something happening, the chances of it happening is way possible compare to Wish. The possibility of wish happening is unlikely, that’s the difference between hope and wish. A 7 year old can hope he grows tall in the future, it’s possible that it will happen, but when he becomes a 27 year old short man, he can only wish he was taller.

But then we have those people that are the most hopeful people in the world but are lazy. They just prefer to sit down and wallow their lives with hopes and wishes without putting in the work or action. They hope to be a millionaire someday but they don’t want to take risk or work for it, they just hope that $20 million gets to their account by mistake or by chance. That’s like hoping to see a real life unicorn 🦄 on the streets. The moment actions are not applied to hopes, then the person is just wishfully thinking.

According to @selfhelp4trolls in I can’t…stop…blogging!!! talked about how they love blogging and the motivation they get when blogging.

I hope to fill and refill your cup with delicious words day after day, whenever I can 😉

They are doing this by taking actions and not just hoping and being idle.
