Just A Random Day In The Crypto Space

Hey guys, how are you doing? I hope you are good? Well it’s a great day trying to enjoy the day, been so busy with other stuff I am beginning to slack a little with my writing on Hive. I have to fix that, ending my day without writing anything on Hive doesn’t seem like a complete day for me, so I will have to fix that and make sure I get my writing streak in order.

This is another day to remind myself that I need to get a ledger wallet, because these centralised exchanges are stealing from us indirectly. I have been postponing buying a cold wallet for a while but it’s moving up in my priority list and I should be getting one soon. Few weeks ago I sent ZBC from my phantom wallet to my KuCoin wallet, for some unknown reason, KuCoin said I sent the wrong contract token, the token was worth $72. To withdraw it, I need to pay 80 USDT charges, that doesn’t make sense right? Because, it’s not my keys, technically, not my crypto anymore there is nothing I can do about it. If it were to be a decentralized wallet, I could have easily sent it any where without any hassle or having anyone charge me 80 USDT for a simple transaction.

Today I tried doing a transaction, transferred over 100 MATIC from my Dex Wallet to my Bybit wallet, same thing happened again, I haven’t received my MATIC for over 2 hours. Retraced my steps, I did everything, I sent MATIC on the MATIC chain to my Bybit wallet, but I don’t understand the reason it has not reflected, from the polygonscan it’s shows that the transaction was successful and it’s in my Bybit wallet, but it’s not in my wallet. Complained to the customer care support and they said I should wait 2 or more days. I dont know what the end result would be, but I am certain that before the month ends, I will be getting cold wallet because I cant afford to be losing my money to these centralised exchanges any more.
