My First NFT Sale Offer After So Many Listing

So the journey in trying to make it in the NFT market has not been a serious path for me. I decided to join the NFT community, but not with everything I got like I did in crypto. No matter how lucrative it seemed, I still see it as a great risk. I can’t afford to lose any money investing in NFT. I only took a risk to invest $109 to buy some pancake swap bunny NFT, which is one NFT I regret buying today. I bought 3 different Pancakeswap bunny NFTs, ever since I bought them,the floor price has been going lower. Well, I have detached my emotions from theses NFT, although I listed 1 in the market.

I bought each of these NFTs for $34, $34 and $40. My activities still shows that I spent $109 for these NFTs, I was a complete NFT noob when I bought these NFTs. I FOMOd and bought because I wanted to make big bucks like I saw other people on the internet. The value of these NFTs have fallen so bad, first of all, the quantity of these NFTs are enormous, people are currently willing to settle for less to make sure they sell off their NFTs. I’m not really desperate to sell off my NFTs at this outrageous low price.

Open sea is the most used NFT market place but unfortunately its payment is on ETH. Although I have some NFTs that can be paid for with klaytn and some on polygon Matic blockchain but listed on opensea. After my experience with Pancakeswap NFTs I decided that I won’t spend any money on NFTs but will get them for free. I was lucky to be among the coingecko con NFT conference ticket buyers, so I was given some NFTs for free. I have listed some of these NFTs and haven’t gotten any offer in months.

I applied for the free NFT airdrop by crypto.com in celebration for their crypto.com arena opening night. I got the NFT a week ago and today I just got an offer worth $5 for the NFT. Wow!!! That’s some good news, no matter how small it looks, it’s a little win for me. I can finally say I got my first NFT offer, lots of things went through my mind, like accepting the offer so I can brag to my friends that I have finally had a taste of this NFT money. 😂, the offer was sent to my email and it felt so good receiving an email from crypto.con, I admired the offer for minutes.

It’s not everyday you get an offer on your NFT, $5 is a little money though for this NFT because of its potential historical value. Crypto.com dropped $700 million for a naming rights with the staples center to change its name from staples center to crypto.com. Staples Center is one of the most popular centers in the world, hosting basketball games, fashion shows and other notable events. Celebrities are always going there and posting pictures having the center’s location mapped on their photos. With the name change from Staple’s center to crypto.com arena we are currently seeing lots of crypto.com arena location map to mped on these celebrities Instagram pictures.

This naming right partnership is a 20 years deal, meaning that for the next 20 years, crypto will be advertised in this center in the form of crypto.com arena. Getting NFTs to celebrate it for free only to be offered $5 for it, seems like an unfair price to me. I don’t mind leaving it for 5 years to see how much it will be worth then. Besides only 50,000 NFTs were created to be airdroped to people who applied for the NFT. Looks pretty rare to me, the $5 offer was cute but I’ll pass. I rejected the offer though, hoping for a better offer in future.
