Possible Stablecoin By PayPal
PayPal is known to be one of the most used payment services in the world, but just as the world is evolving, cryptocurrency is the future, so are some companies like PayPal trying to adapt. Just 2 years ago, PayPal allowed users to get access to cryptocurrencies now its having some possible information of having its own stablecoin.
Now crypto is on its journey to going mainstream in the world, PayPal possibly thought it was a smart business move to expand their crypto business by creating its own stablecoin. Hopefully they have learnt from other platforms that tried having a stable coin but couldn’t pull through with the plan because of regulators. But PayPal is hoping that they don’t have such problem.
This possible PayPal stablecoin was found by a developer on the PayPal iPhone app, where the codes for the PayPal coin was hidden.
What Does This Mean To Crypto & World Adoption
It’s a step to crypto world adoption, it’s a process which is another sign that we are on the right path. This move made by a PayPal will possibly motivate other payment services into doing same and gradually we are going to see crypto positively dominate the financial system. More and more people are dumping their fiat for cryptos including stable coins.
During dips like this, that’s when you see lots of traders running to stablecoins for safe heaven, the more the payment services are investing in crypto, the more their trusted users will start investing in crypto. It’s just a matter of time, I hope the crypto doubters are okay, because it’s happening right in front of their eyes and if they don’t join now, they have theirselves to blame.
Hive Pay & Helping Creating Possible Awareness For Hive
Reading about the PayPal news, I can’t help but think about HivePay, Hive’s payment service that allows people pay for their stuff online with Hive, Hiveengine token and HBD. I hope that the Hive pay is advertised and pushed through promotion so people can use it more. This is a great way of creating awareness about our great platform Hive which in turn help the demand for Hive, Hiveengine tokens and HBD.
Haven’t read a post from @jongolson on Hive pay in a while, because I really love the project. I think with the right push it’s going to be one of Hive’s greatest projects. Haven’t understood the hang of it yet especially how to implement it on your website. But it’s something you need to watch out for, can’t wait to start seeing Hive pay as a payment option.

I think as hbd pegged to $1 it will be put more in use inside Hive but to use outside Hive it would be a great achievement
