What’s Going To Be The Faith Of Twitter Crypto Now?

Definitely a funny way to resign by tweeting the tweet in the image. Like he said, this must have been a very tough decision for him to make, but personally I feel he did what he thinks is best for him. It must be really hard handling three companies and being their CEO. When I found out that he was behind Twitter, Square and Cashapp, my thought was, “How does he do all that?”. I think he acquired Jay-Z streaming platform Tidal one time, can’t remember but am certain he did. It must have been exhausting having all those roles.

Well this obviously looks like a decision he has been contemplating for a long time. I’m sure some of you remember the statement he made this year during the Miami Bitcoin conference. He said if he wasn’t the CEO of square or Twitter, or if he wasn’t working there he would surely be working on bitcoin. This means that his love for bitcoin supersedes that of his other companies. He also said that if eventually bitcoin needed his help, he was going to leave those companies and focus on bitcoin.

It’s obvious that the bitcoin maximalist is directing his focus on bitcoin right now. Few weeks ago he talked about creating a bitcoin defi service on Twitter, and he has helped in the integration of bitcoin tipping on Twitter. Now he is out as the CEO of Twitter and from his statement, he might also step down as a board member, because he wants the company to have no influence from the founders and co founding members. Is it a way of hun saying a wants a centralized decentralized Twitter?

We all know Jack Dorsey to be a big bitcoin Maximalist, he doesn’t like other cryptos but just bitcoin. He has been advocating bitcoin for quite some time now and this has influenced the company into buying and adding bitcoin to its treasury. Jack Dorsey has made Twitter a home for a lot of crypto communities to communicate with each other especially Bitcoin Maximalist. But I can’t help but think of how Twitter will be like without him as the CEO and making executive decisions towards bitcoin and Twitter.

That’s not me saying I will miss his Web 2.0 privileges, am just talking about the crypto vibe he allows on twitter. Will the new CEO and executive board members agree, allow or support some of Jack Dorsey’s bitcoin vision on Twitter. Will it be tossed aside and never attended to after some time, since he won’t have any power to make some certain decisions.

I guess it’s welcome full crypto for Jack Dorsey, just incase Twitter starts censoring his bitcoin post and shilling, I will like him to know that he can always join us here on Hive and no one will censor his opinions.
