New Energy System announced for Ranked Battles in Splinterlands

Now there is another excitement in the game because we are going to have a new energy system in Splinterlands. I have started playing battles in the last two seasons and now I know that with limited energy it is difficult to play sometimes because it drains faster once it goes below 50%. Being a player I know the importance of the capture rate and why this is an important component of the game. Those who were playing the game can easily understand what I am saying because somewhere this is something that stops us to play further. The more battles we play are completely dependent upon the energy rate we have in our account and in the current system there is no such option to buy additional energy. The new changes that we are going to have this month will make the game much more fun while making it easier for new players as they do need not to go through the complex process. I also understand that it is important to limit the players because when cannot keep on playing for unlimited battles in the game and if that happens then it is not good for the project.

New Energy system is Easy and simple

The current energy system is a bit complex for the new users but the new one is going to be much easier. It's simple and with this new players are going to enjoy gaming even more. We need to maintain a threshold of a minimum of 50% with an energy capture rate. The drain percentage gets increased post 50% and even it affects the reward as far as I understand in the game. I didn't play and stop it from going to cities less than 60% because I do not want to keep myself on wait to get it recharged. Normally it is the stage between 60 to 70% these days when I play about 20-25 battles in a day.

We can buy extra energy

The current system does not allow us to buy the extra energy if needed but with the new one, we are going to get the option where we can buy 50 more energy. The price will vary depending upon the league we are playing in so it is obvious that if we are playing in the higher League then we need to pay a higher price. It's also understood that with the higher League, we earn higher rewards so the price for the energy is also going to be high. Maybe if we play more and we earn a good number of cards or even better reward then this cost is nothing compared to what we have got. I

am excited about this upcoming change in the game and looking forward to seeing it happen at soon as possible because as a player I would like to see how much I can play in a game and what maximum reward I can earn. The people who will be earning more through the extra energy are also going to help the community because they will be burning the tokens. Whenever the tokens are burnt then we are contributing to the game ecosystem and that's a win-win situation for both the players and the platform.

I am not sure what percentage of players will be opting for the option to buy extra energy but hopefully, this is going to be a good percentage. As a player, I can say that I am going to try it for sure and see how things work and if it is good then for sure I will make practice with external energy and play more battles whenever I have enough time to devote to the game.

It is one of the components that we need to consider in the game and also very important if we have more time to spend on the game then only it is worth buying extra energy. I have more time on the weekend so probably buying daily will not be physical for me but for sure on the weekend I can try sometimes when I feel like having more time. Hopefully this way I can also level up my League to be part of the leaderboard if that happens but I am not sure if that is going to be easy for me.
