Journey in Splinterlands...

Over the years, it is a known fact about Splinterlands, that it provides surprises to an unexpected level. Over all, every time there is something new coming up to the game, it gets more like a festival within the game. To be more precise, a competing attitude arrives out of nowhere! That how can one get the at least a piece of the cake from whatever new attributes are being introduced to the game play.

Lands have been finally introduced and it has been seeing some mind blowing response from the players and investors. Lately, we have been seeing there is a talk about BOSS FIGHTS which is going to be introduced into the game and no doubt, this time as well it will take a phenomenon start from the very beginning.

Talking about surprises, I have been giving enough time in Splinterlands for the past couple of weeks. I have been engaging with players in the battle fields. getting to know different strategies, different use cases of monsters from different players. A lot of times, I have been making wrong and stupid mistakes in monster selections and in my game play as well. Which is, I suppose a part of the learning curve! I am yet to explore a lot in the realm of Splinterlands.

Keeping that in mind last season was sort of exciting for me. As I ended up on Silver 3 at the end of the season. Where I was able to get some decent rewards, not that I am complaining but seems like to get some well worth rewards, one needs to get to higher league. Although, it does feels frustrating when you are giving this much time and end up getting not to so good rewards at the end of the season. But than again the thought of investing comes into the mind, it does makes sense to give higher rewards to the upper league players, since the most investments are made by those players which sort of helps in the economy of the game.

I have been taking part in brawl activity lately and it is indeed on another level of entertainment. Although, I am still getting to know few monsters in action but I am loving it. It is sort of like a new world within the game itself. Also not to forget I love it, when the rewards are spilt between the players and opening packs have been exciting as well. With this I was able to accumulate a little over 2k merits and which have made me take the next step into the game.

Although, I am still in the early stage of this phase but I have seemed to manage a great interest in marching forward with the current flow of my game play within the game. I was able to manage to buy a gladiator pack from the merits that I have won and seems like I was sort of lucky to get a GF on the purchase. Well, it sure was a nice surprise for me as I was particularly not expecting this at a very early stage. The GF added 10k power to my total card edition. Well, this may not seem much to many but it does to me at this point of the game.

Well, I have also been playing in tournaments. To be honest, I am just entering and getting slayed left and right by my opponents. This has been nothing but a slaughter fest for me over the last tournaments. I must admit, all the master mind lies out there and making it one of the greatest arena to show the skills that any player have developed over the time in here. As tournaments are one of the best place to get a decent amount of returns for a player.

As of writing this post, there has been a reward of $19k worth of assets in the upcoming weeks for playing tournaments. So it is no doubt that there are some decent returns for the players to grab, over the coming weeks. But the fact lies here, that one needs to be extremely talented to get some wise rewards from these tournaments. And as for me I am just a new born out in here. I have a long way to go and I need to build my deck as strong as possible in the coming months. Until then playing with players stringer than me does sounds interesting and by that way, I would be able to improve my skills as well.

So I must say, there are few things which needs to be kept in mind as a player of Splinterlands. The more you invest into the game, the more chances gets unlocked for an investor to make some decent returns. Brawls, Tournaments, everyday chests, seasons rewards, SPS rewards. Quite a lot of activities can be done out in the realm of Splinterlands.

My next few months goal :

• Increase Cards (Ultimate Goal of maxing them)
• Increase SPS (staked) balance
• Own Land
• Get better at playing matches
• Get Gladiator cards

One step at a time. It is going to be a long way but I suppose it is going to be really worth it.
