Splinterlands, Riftwatchers, SPLTD!! Where to jump in?

Splinterlands is slowly approaching towards the vision, which was being sought out from the very beginning of their journey. As of this moment, Splinterlands can be easily accepted as one of the pioneer projects on top of HIVE blockchain. Splinterlands has been successfully increasing its userbase and attracting users all across the globe. Constant updates and bringing new usability to its infrastructure has allowed users and investors to build trust in the project. At current condition in the entire crypto market it is quite difficult to find a friendly and reliable project to invest upon. Thus Splinterlands is showing remarkable opportunities for its userbase. May that it be money/time being invested in Splinterlands, its worth every penny and effort.

A lot of updates and activities are going on in Splinterlands. In the next few days there are going to be series of developments and new assets being introduced within the game.

All these significant changes will eventually increase the value of the whole market of Splinterlands which will affect the marketcap and the card sales volume from this current point. As of writing this post the current marketcap sits at around $100m. Where the ATH was over $275 million. Which precisely shows, what could be done in a good market!

However, the card sales has decreased and has come down to less than $100k. This is where the new edition cards are going to make a difference. Riftwatchers is going to play a significant role in the next few months. As the cards gets released they will precisely share a different attributes in the gameplay and will have a significant price affect in the market of card sales.

If you are keeping yourself updated about recent announcements of Splinterlands, you should be aware of Rifwatchers and all the details related to Splinterlands Tower Defense. Both of these updates has left me in shock! The definite reason is, how the hell am I going to jump in on all of those? For those whales who are just eagerly awaiting for the presales to start, they are going to scoop up as much as possible and that even in a discounted price.

I am still trying to find ways to divide and get in on all of them with as much as possible. But from my point of view I am sharing what I am currently doing in order to make the best use of my assets at current position.

• Riftwatchers The next addition set of cards which is being introduced in Splinterlands. Total of 3,000,000 packs will be sold, while first 500k packs are considered to be presale packs. Price would be $4 SPS + 1 Voucher in pre sale and even after pre sale.

The perk of getting into presale will be, you will have a chance to receive limited edition promo card.

Whenever, I have invested in packs (previous) I was able to come up with profits at the end. Now few issues which I will face from my side would be, if I do not open the packs I will have to wait till the packs gets sold out. So that I can resell them and acquire some profit via holding the packs. Which will leave me with no choice but my money would get stuck until the packs gets sold out. According to the past, most of the time whenever packs got sold out the price impact was pretty great. Leaving with some decent profits to acquire. But now scenario has changed and a lot is going to happen in the coming days. Whereas, if I open the packs I might get some decent profits out of the cards, if they turns out to be worthy cards. Kind of gamble right now. Since I am building my Splinterlands card decks, I will definitely need the cards in the future. So I seem to have, quite a little option at my hand.

• Splinterlands Tower Defense now now, this is going to another crazy ride with Splinterlands. Another era is starting. If I dig in the past, I now regret not being a part of Splinterlands from the very beginning. If only I would been more addicted towards gaming, things would have changed a lot for me. Keeping that in mind, I am going through the same phase once again.

$8 per packs has been declared as the price of SPLD packs. While a discount will be available if a user uses voucher, which will reduce the price to $5, giving a discount of $3. My only concern at the moment is this roadmap. It is completely understandable how difficult it is going to be to introduce a new game and its attributes. And also I do believe in Splinterlands and the team. I am quite sure this will be one of the best game as well. Since, the cost is quite high and the no of packs 2,000,000 packs (1st addition) assuming there will be few next edition as well. So it is going to be a quite a deep sink of well to put money into. But being an early adopter is going to make a whole lot of difference. So I will probably skip the presale event and try to collect as much pack as possible over the next few months. But if luck gets favorable and SPS turns to something amazing in terms of price, the scenario will be completely different.

Vouchers and Dark Energy Crystals (DEC)

After the recent announcement of riftwatchers and SPLTD Vouchers has seen a very significant uptrend in price. The price of voucher spiked from 0.7 Hive to almost 1.8 Hive per voucher. Within a difference of week the price more than doubled leaving quite a great opportunity to make a trade. I was told my a fellow Hive user to invest in Voucher before the announcement was made but I had close to no free money to dive into voucher. But those who did were able to make some great money within a short span.

DEC has not yet seen any significant changes in terms of price yet. But once the presale starts the scenario is going to be different. Current price of 1000 DEC is valued at $0.694. Quite a bit of way to go to get to the pegged value. But DEC has surprised us before and who knows that might happen again in the future.

I have been collecting DEC and SPS for quite some time and hopefully I will be collecting them as long as I can. Without selling them, I have either been staking the SPS or hodling SPS & DEC as liquid. The impermanent loss is what holding my hand to put them out in the pool for now. So just holding them liquid and doing some occasional swaps when the price change takes place. Thus the amount of reward is getting quite equal to the reward from the pool. So I am happy with what is happening!
