Splinterlands suddenly became even more amzaing....

Its been an amazing week in the land of Splinterlands. The new changes that have taken into effect in the gameplay is finally making a significant impact within the ecosystem of the game. With this new update a lot of significant changes have taken place. Majority of the players are probably appreciating this new upgrade. That being said, I have become active in playing the game once again. This is probably the situation for many, within the game.

Removing League Limits

This update has completely changed the scenario for Splinterlands. Now that almost all the barriers are removed, players can enjoy the game with their level of expertise. Which is, usage of cards is not limited based on leagues! This scenario alone has made the game more and more intriguing. And since the reward pool is not divided among different leagues, the rewards has been much more pleasant after this update.

Although, the reward pool for users in the leaderboard is now for top 50 in the whole of the game, this is probably one of the reason some users are saying other wise. Although, I must say the game has suddenly become interesting to play. As a player myself, I am now literally enjoying the game like I used to before. Earlier, before this update it was as if the game has become more of like an exam but this should not have been the scenario. Afterall, we are playing the game for enjoyment.

Yes, there are monetary value involved within the game and with this update, players will not only be able to earn something from the game but at the same time they can fully utilize the cards that they have in their best interest. Nevertheless, enjoy the game playing!

New users

This is a very delicate sector. When new players comes into the realm of Splinterlands they usually have to go through series of events. Getting to know the cards, abilities, rule sets, different league(in the past), leaderboard and so on. And the most annoying part was not being able to utilize the full potential of cards without going to the top league. This journey of novice league from the champion league is literally tiresome and it requires more than just investment. It requires a full fledged study about Splinterlands and its ecosystem. Even though it does intruiging but to be honest how many users have we been able to on board with that strategy. I am glad we are able to keep up with this update and when and if we get the lime light in this bull run, we might be able to see the adoption that we have been seeking for so long.

Rewards

This is where it gets interesting! With SPS being at current price the rewards that are being given out for ranked battle matches, it might not be as interesting as it looks. But come to think of it, I am currently playing at Silver league and the rewards that I am obtaining is close to 0.5 SPS per match. Yes, it is not much but to think about the earlier update this is heaven lol. But yes, after all the chitchats all that it matters to investments is the returns. Without much of a return from the investment, we will not be able to gain the attraction that we deserve.

Well, the team has definitely doing their best to make the game as easy as possible for the new users to adopt. The more we complicate the game, the less users we will on board. After all, crypto is a very diverse place to be. I have an investment and I want to dive in on crypto gaming sector, there are countless projects out there where I will dive in, if I do not enjoy being where I have investment my money upon.

Splinterlands is making some decent progress and I can not wait to see the full potential of this game being unlocked in the upcoming bull rally!
