Some sweets or bugs ?
Hello hello , friends admin and curator of Asean Hive community. How's your day going ? Well for my Monday today late evening i went to the local market for some traditional desserts. No idea why all in a sudden for sweets , maybe low of sugar i guess 🤣. So allow me to show you some of the local Thai dessert that i've got .
10 baht each , 6 pieces 50 baht . All freshly , made by hand.Then it was cuts and wrap into plastic immediately for hygience purposes.
So what i got is , Green is pandan flavor cake , light brown is steam egg cake , white is coconut flavor jelly , light orange cube is foi thong egg yolk jelly and the middle one is thong yot Here
Well , i guess dessert is not enough . How about some fried bugs then 😁

Jelly and cakes look likes very tasty. I have also seen bugs sold in the town where I live. But I have never eaten it. Thank you for sharing, friend.

I think i could do without the bugs haha. Those jelly cakes are a bit of strange thing to me. I've had some that were really nice and then others that tasted like they had vegetables in them. Why would anyone put vegetables in cake? oh wait a second, I just remembered carrot cake. :)

I never tried that fried cricket, but the Rhinoceros beetles I had before when I was a kid my father grilled the bug and gave me. It was delicious :D . What does it taste like? the cricket? :O
