Dear five years older Rookie
Am sure this letter meets you well with all you ever dreamt of and aspired for in the last five years met. I know for certain that you are happy and you have everything going on well for you even though you might not yet be all that you have to be in this world.
I know that you are a mummy now to beautiful children, You definitely have earned all the precious little gifts God has given you girl. Currently that’s our little life struggle but it would end soon am sure of it.
I must say life is what it is right now, a roller coaster of emotions and daily survival. I am writing you from the year 2022, and it’s been a bumpy five months into the year. I wake up everyday hopeful that the day would pass in good grace and in good Favour with my life and that of my family spared.
Hmmm Rookie, all I can say right now is that part of the happiness you are enjoying currently , is my present struggle but writing this to you alone gives me hope that all would be well because as your reads this letter You would smile and know that everything I am going through right now would be all a thing of the past and old memories to us.
I’ll stay fighting for our dreams and goals because I know that life ahead would be blissful and we would look back on this year and know that everything was indeed working out for our good.
Am sure by now we must have left the county, that has always been the target, to go find a better place outside this country where life is easier, safer and more organized.
Am glad that particular goal came to pass because as we speak I and husband man would stop at nothing to get out of this jungle we currently call a country.
I really don’t have much struggles to share or let me just say there are a lot I can’t share as this is an open letter, but I want you to know this, never stop believing in yourself, in your God and in humanity. The Rookie I am today gives me so much hope for the one that is to come which is you.
You are a rare gem, the world would come to know that and your husband and children and family would know that they are blessed to be your family. You would do great things and I am sure of this.
All that I pray for this moment is for a life that we would enjoy to the glory of God in the future. Stay blessed and bask in the blessings of the Almighty.

5 years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us. Dont we pay them to stop shit like this? The NSA, CIA, FBI, Police and our Government has done nothing. Just like they did with the Havana Syndrome, nothing. Patriot Act my ass. The American government is completely incompetent. The NSA should be taken over by the military and contained Immediately for investigation. Hello baby girl, I just want to tell you that you are amazing already.
The idea of leaving the country, to be honest, my spirit and soul is away already. It is my body that just here. Hubby and I are working really hard to japa. It is so unfortunate that naija has left us feeling this way. Just maybe you and I might just meet on one of the vacation tours in Europe. Who knows?
