I LOVE KIDS PARTY-DO YOU?
Hey guys
I had a swell time today and I thought what other place can I relieve my super fun day experience than with you all my darling hive family.
I attended a party today for a ten year old baby girl, this has to be one childrens party I have had the most fun and enjoyed in recent times. It was just the way I love my parties, small, intimate and classy.
It was held in the living room of the house, well decorated and simple.
I especially loved the decorations and all the pink balloons that were all over the place. I even had one ballon for myself, to play with when I get home (lol don’t judge me o).
There was a long table with chairs around it, dinner style for the kids, while the parents and aunties sat just behind the children all around the center setup. I am guessing the parents of the celebrant do not have the plenty friends or they probably just wanted only really really close friends because the children were all accounted for, few and well prepared for by the celebrants parents and I loved that. It felt like something I know I would do because I do not fancy big parties or celebrations and I do not have so many friends.
There was a lot to eat and drink, I mean a lot, for a child’s party, the parents went all out, I even had two different food take home (again don’t judge me, the Singapore noodles? I just couldn’t leave without it)
The mother of the celebrants is always a baker, she actually made my traditional wedding cake, as a baker imagine how many cakes her kid had, three, threee beautiful and yummy cakes, with lots of cupcakes around.
I had Singapore noodles, this one hit different, spicy, tasty and just on point.
After which I followed up with a plate of fries and Nigerian Jollof rice and some sauced chicken. Also this was a hit, my taste buds were thankful.
I washed it down with this extra chilled mint alcohol free cocktail, which was yum too, I took one draw with the straw and it was almost half gone, thankfully the cocktail dispenser was still so much I had a refill.
For me, this party was well thought out, every thing had the celebrants name on it, customized water, cupcakes, even the gift pack had her name customized Riwo@10 on it, it gave the vibe of a very thorough and detailed mom, I was super proud of her.
The icing on my cake was the gift, I got a gift, I was the only adult there who left with a gift pack. Ok truthfully the gift pack isn’t mine, according to the celebrants mom, she said it was for my first child and I should keep it for her, well sorry baby mummy will have to eat all the biscuits and lick all the sweets and drinks on your behalf Lol.
And yes I got her a gift too. Nothing big but something very useful.
It was a happy celebration and I was really happy to be part of it. I enjoyed all the kids games, dancing competitions and screaming who the best dancer was and who lost. It brought back childhood memories. The kids were very excited and happy too, you could tell. Super glad I was invited and also glad I honored the invitation.

Your post really brought back memories of parties I attended as a child. As an adult, I don’t really attend parties. I can’t remember the last one I attended.
The party was a nicely planned one, and they went all out for the food and drinks too. I haven’t tried Singapore Noodles before but they look really yum.
Like you, I do not fancy big parties. It’ll definitely be parties with just close friends and family for my kids in the future.
Nice post. I enjoyed it as I always do.
Awwww it’s good to attend parties once in a while oo
Thank you for stopping by
You’re welcome.
Hi! I loved this birthday party with all the decorations super prepared, the cake looked beautiful and the bottle of water was a great detail. And it's good that you had a gift for yourself too, as long as there is no baby you are allowed to eat all the sweets you want! I'm glad you had a good time.

What a fun party! I love the decor they put together. We tend to have most of our parties at home too, it cuts the cost big time.
