every year in the month of September-October, Pitripaksha is celebrated which is of sixteen days, hence it is also called Sola Sarad.

There are 365 days in a year. Our ancestors stay in Pitru Loka throughout the year. It is believed that for these sixteen days, God opens the doors of Pitru Loka. At that time, all the ancestors eat food and water given by their loved ones on the earth.

When the ancestors go to the ancestral world after fifteen days, they give auspicious blessings to their loved ones due to which all their wishes are fulfilled and their troubles and diseases are cured. etc. all go away due to which there is prosperity in their family. The name of the deity of the ancestral world is Ayrama.

The crow is their vehicle. When food is given to the ancestors, the crow is invoked. The dog is also given food. It is considered a symbol of Dharmaraj.

The cow is also given food because the cow is the most revered and the cow has all the gods. There are more things regarding Sarad but I have tried to share all the information I know with you all.

प्रत्येक वर्ष सितंबर अक्टूबर माह में पितृपक्ष मनाया जाता है जो की सोलहा दिन का होता है इसी कारण से इन्हें सोलहा श्राद्ध भी कहते हैं साल में 365 दिन होते हैं हमारे पूर्वज पूरे वर्ष भर पितृ लोक में ही रहते हैं ऐसी मान्यता है कि इन पंद्रह दिनों के लिएभगवान पितृ लोक के द्वार खोल देते है उस समय सभी पितृ धरती पर अपने प्रियजनों के द्वारा दिया गया भोजन और जल को प्राप्त करते है जो कि उनके परिवार जनों द्वारा तर्पण के माध्यम से दिया जाता है
जब पितृ पंद्रह दिनों के पश्चात पितृ लोक को गमन करते हैं तो वह अपने प्रियजनो को शुभ आशीष देते हैं जिससे उनकी सभी मनोकामनाएं पूर्ण होती है एवं उनके कष्ट और रोग आदि सब दूर हो जाते हैं जिस कारण से उनके परिवार में खुशहाली आती है पितृ लोक के देवता का नाम अयरमा है

कौवा उनका वाहन है जब पितरों को भोजन दिया जाता है तो कौवे का आवाहन किया जाता है कुत्ते को भी भोजन दिया जाता है यह धर्मराज का प्रतीक माना जाता है गाय को भी भोजन कराया जाता है क्योंकि गए सबसे पूज्यनीय होती है और गाय में सभी देवताओं का वास माना जाता है श्राद्ध के संबंध में और भी बातें हैं परंतु मुझे जितना ज्ञात है वह सभी जानकारी मैंने आप सब लोगों के साथ साझा करने की कोशिश की है
