A Rainy day Wednesday Walk.

It's been many years since I didn't get stuck in the rain middle of the city!

Last week, it was raining for the whole day though it was not heavy. When I had to go outside for some emergency I didn't think a bit of taking an umbrella with me. How stupid I'm! Maybe because I thought it will end in a few minutes or in half an hour.

So after stepping into the street I realized it will be impossible to pass the path without getting wet. Fortunately, there was an overbridge nearby and I took the opportunity to wait under the shade of the bridge.

You can see the street were not that wet yet but the rain was so cold I didn't want to catch any cold or fever.

I was observing the city life over there. No one got any umbrella, right? Maybe I'm not that stupid. lol...

Watching the huge shopping mall opposite the street was not boring at all. And you know what? The mall has a huge TV/Flat Screen attached to the wall, I was watching some movie trailers there. Nope, I was not the only one who compromised with work and wait there for the rain to stop. There were like 10-15 people who were doing the same. It was quite a show, huh!

And millions of others can't take the chance to wait for the rain to stop. They got wet but still were in a hurry. This is life, I know.

I didn't notice earlier that this bridge got an escalator as well, we don't need to walk on the stairs anymore to go on the other side of the road. Also, this wait gave me an opportunity to notice many more changes which I may overlook. Like a new mobile shop, the almost finished building opposite of the road...

After around 15 minutes, the rain stops and I get down from the bridge.

Ah, it was crowded again like any other time.

When millions of people share the same city, it's a luxury to ask for a place without any crowd, I know. Sometimes I like the liveliness but most of the time it makes me feel suffocated. This time, I didn't mind coz I got my refreshment/time off over there on the bridge.

The rain couldn't stop life, maybe slowed down a little bit and I enjoyed the show phase. :)

Have a wonderful day, everyone.
