Compromising with my sleep is the biggest mistake I've ever made!

Many of us feel more productive during the nighttime. I'm also not an exclusion. But years after years doing this to myself, my body clock can't adjust anymore.

Now I'm facing a severe sleeping disorder for almost two months. I lost the ability to sleep on my own, I have to go through medication almost every single day.

Sleeping disorder is the worst nightmare anyone could have.

If you are also doing this to yourself, I would suggest you change your routine. Otherwise, your body will also react soon in the worst way possible.

Sometimes it feels like my brain cells are eating themselves. And it's actually true. If you don't get enough sleep, your brain cells might be eating themselves. The worst thing is you will feel that in your head.

There was a time when I was able to catch sleep late at night (or maybe I should say morning because it used to be around 3.00 am). But now my body is not working the same anymore. Even if I go to the bed at 11.00 pm, I stay awake for another 3-4 hours. It's the worst feeling.

Now no matter what I do; a healthy lifestyle, sleeping routine, breathing exercises, all the rituals before bed; nothing helps me at all.

I never wish anyone have to go through the same pain.

It all started after I became a mom. I used to catch less sleep at night just like any other mom. I couldn't sleep during the day no matter how tired I'm. So instead I used to do my work. Like writing online, doing Hive stuff. I never realized doing this for years would end me up like this.

For many many years, I don't/can't sleep for even five hours in 24 hours. I have seen the clock proceed from 1.00 am to 3.00 am, and more. I have seen the daylight start to appear so many times and I still couldn't sleep.

So if you are still dilutional that you have good control over your body, don't think so. Our body can react anytime. Trying to sleep for hours and not be able to fall asleep can make your mental health so unstable that you will find yourself the unhappiest person ever.

The two photos I used literally represent my condition during the day and at night.

It's better to compromise with our work than with our sleep. Please do not compromise with your sleep.

I think that is the same problem I have and id affected my carrier.

My brother I want to tell you that I was brilliant student. I would sleep while walking. It was that bad.
It started while I was in my twelfth grade. I have never seen anybody with a challenge like mine.
I say I have been just unlucky.

Too bad! There's medication for the situation you know! Have you tried talking to a doctor? You should see one you know, at least you aren't nursing a baby right?

I'm going through medication for two months now. The bad news is even the medicine sometimes can't put me into sleep.
I'm seeing doctor regularly.

Now that's bad😔. I know how you feel, my dad was once in those shoes until he was cured. You should work out more often, and also take the medication I think it will help you relax. Just take a deep breath before going to bed, free your mindset, close your eyes and you'll find yourself sleeping soundly. Do take care of yourself!
