'Festive food' of Bangladesh (10 photos) || Fragrance from my kitchen!

Every festival has some color, fragrance, and rituals. And when it comes to food, it's all different from 'regular food', no? In our culture, we have some 'specific' food which we love to prepare depends on the festive. No matter if it's a religious festival or a cultural/traditional one.

Yesterday was our one of the biggest religious festivals- 'Eid-Ul-Fitr'. But this time as you can understand we celebrated it totally differently. Yeah, we stayed home and tried our best to make it special. And as we're at home so 'food' was an essential part to make this event special.

I'm sharing some of our 'authentic' 'must-have' food during this festival. Every photo of the dishes I'm sharing here was cooked by me. :)

From the appetizer to the main dish, from the spicy one to the dessert. I'm sharing everything I have prepared! And these are some of the 'must-have' dishes during this Eid.

This dessert is so popular, every house made it. And there are even many family recipes and different ways to prepare it.

Faluda

This is also very popular. The main ingredients are 'Sago', seemed noodles and fruits.

Malai Cake

Well, this is not traditional. But I recently learn about it and tried it for the first time. It's the regular egg, flour cake dipped in cream. It's really delicious!

Now I'm sharing some of the cooking processes. I have some previous blog where I have shared the detail process. You can click [HERE] to get the chicken roast recipe. And I will share in detail some of the dessert recipes from here later. The desserts are easy to prepare and you will love it.

Mutton for the biriyani

You can guess how busy I was preparing all this. I couldn't capture a step-by-step recipe this time as before. But I would try to upload some the recipes in detail later.

We were not feeling very well because we are staying apart from our parents for long and we didn't meet our relatives for almost a year. This Eid is the time when we get time to meet them and have a great time altogether. But it's okay. We are staying safe. That's what matters most. And this food surely added some value in our monotonous indoor life!
