The Butterfly Pea flower, commonly known as the Pigeon Wing flower is one of the favorites in my balcony garden. We call it Nil Oporajita which means who never loses. Isn't the name beautiful just like the flower?

I call it the queen of my garden. Because these are the only blue flowers I got and when it blooms the beautiful deep blue color rule over all the other flowers.

I was wondering for a few weeks why my Oporajita is not blooming. I have seen some of my neighbors have them on their balcony and there were a bunch of flowers in those plants. But my plant was empty resembling my heart!

The day before yesterday I got to see this one all of a sudden in the morning. It was the best kind of surprise I would ask for!

Some more photos to bless your eyes.

I took these photos two days ago. Now there are almost five or six flowers in the plant. If it would be a little bushier then probably I would get to see more. This Oporajita plant is just one year old, I cut off the branches intentionally to give more strength to the root.

This one flower gave me so much joy and hope!

And here comes the Chrysanthemum!

There are almost 20 flower buds are blooming in this small plant. I never thought it could make it till winter. Because Mealybugs/Small White Insects took over the plant for a few months. I was following some home remedies (will share them later) to get rid of them. But you know, how tough to eliminate all of them. They come back every other day. I'm continuing the effort to get rid of them.

So when I noticed so many buds my eyes couldn't believe it. I found that there were still some Mealybugs hanging there, especially around the buds. Isn't it annoying? Anyway, I will keep continuing my home remedies. Let's see if they can bloom.

This is a photo from last year of the same plant. How beautiful and vibrant the color is, right? How could I give up on this plant and pull it over? So I'm trying my best to make it bug-free.

Season's first feels always special. They come with a lot of joy, hope and bring infinite happiness. I wish I would continue to see this beauty for a few months and these plants would be with me for very long.
