The busy streets of Dhaka.

I get to meet my University friends after a long while.

We were three best friends in our department. We used to live in the same dormitory, we have shared thousands of memories. But now we live in three different places and hardly can meet. It's been almost two years since we three met together. Although I meet one of them a few weeks ago.

I was the 'nerd' in the group. I used to do all their assignments. lol. And they were never on time. Just like in the old days, this time they also got late to come to the campus.
The meet-up was at 11.00 AM. But guess what, I got ready and was about to leave home but they were still sleeping. Though only I have a kid, one of my friends is still unmarried but I was the first to go to the meet-up place. It felt like, things didn't change much. :)

When I get to know that they are still sleeping and will take another few hours to reach the campus, I decided to take the bus, so it wouldn't be too awkward to be there very early.

It's been a while since I take the bus and I have to say, I quite enjoyed it. The weekend morning was not as busy as usual and it didn't take much time to be there.

I was expecting high traffic but I was wrong.

This used to be one of my favorite streets. It's always less crowded. There are many government offices and officers' quarters so it's kind of a private area.

It took me an hour and fifteen minutes to be on campus. Both of my friends were on the way. So after getting off the bus, I walked to the campus like in the old days.
It felt so peaceful and full of nostalgia.

Probably, because of the friends meet, everything seems enjoyable that day. I was not pissed to wait on the signals nor by the waste over the roads. The city didn't seem as suffocating as it always feels like.
