Weight Loss/ Exercising/ Purchasing & Opening Some Packs

It's time to get at it...
Life has been busy. I been getting the house in order and started an exercise "routine". I use the word routine loosely as I simply just been going for walks. I'm at the tail end of losing a good chunk of weight. Most my life I been about 150lbs but ballooned up to 230 a few years back. Knocking off the first 20lbs was a breeze. I did get slightly stuck at 210 and then again at 190. I fluctuated between 190 - 210 for months. No clue what I weigh now but I can't be more than 170 - 175lbs. Did I extreme diet? Did I use some sort of diet program? No - I simply just ate less over a period of years. I didn't even exercise or workout. While 230 is what most would consider to be a decent size (height pending) -- I don't feel I was overweight at 230 in the sense that my post might portray. What I was--> was out of shape. Not to any extreme degree but to a degree I didn't like. I might even be under 170lbs at the moment. I will try and put some healthy weight back on. Either by maintaining current weight or melting fat and hopefully re-gain some muscle tone. I'm feeling mentally good but that hasn't got anything to do with the weight loss. I'm simply just in a good spot. This has me hopeful I stick to exercising/ working out and getting back into shape. I intend on training in unorthodox ways. I have a punching bag here and I'm thinking of taking it outside and using it as a throw dummy. Picking it up off the ground and tossing it in front of me in a straight line back and forth. This will give a full body workout. From leg work to chest work and more. This will allow me to do a quick 10-15 minute workout which will be great for easing my way back into things. I do have lots of equipment here including but not limited to () Bench () Treadmill () Bike () Dumbbells () Curl-bar.

Splinterlands foundation packs...
As life is busy I haven't been doing much Splinterlands activities. I do log in from time to time to see if my cards are renting. Seems as only some key ones are. No complaints as my daily intake from rentals is about 1000 DEC. I been letting it stack and have about 300,000 balance currently. A day or two back I placed a few more OG gold cards up for rent. Side note I have a decent amount of cards in my account. Perhaps a land owner needs some OG cards on their land. As the old game show is called Lets Make A Deal. Weekly/ Monthly rentals for X amount of power are possible in a private deal. If this interests you let me know in the comment section how much card power you are looking for and how much DEC you are offering per week/ month. Anyway, that is not the purpose of this post. This post is mainly for me to jot down that first paragraph in hopes it helps me to keep exercising to some degree. Who knows maybe it might even inspire someone else to continue or start. Go get at it - there is no time like now. Since we are on the topic of Splinterlands lets check to see the price of Packs. Not just any packs but Foundation Packs. Looking at the pack market I can see Foundation Packs can currently be purchased for the low price of just $0.03 USD. Lets get some and open them. I have some CREDITS in my account so that is what we will use. One pack costs just 34 CREDITS. Today we will be purchasing three. That means a total of 102 CREDITS will be spent. Alright here we go - lets see what is inside. Will we beat the odds or will we be met with the standard 4 common and one rare? There's only one way to find out.

Concluding Thoughts
Looks like we ended up with two standard packs and one that contained both an EPIC and a Rare. For just nine cents I have increased my Splinterland card holdings with 15 additional cards. It's hard to argue with a deal like that. As always opening packs was allot of fun. We didn't get to see any card rumbles (happens when legendary cards are about to be flipped).
